  5. Postpublished at 15:47 GMT 26 December 2025

    Walsall 0-0 Crewe

Frustration growing at the Bescot Stadium as the passes go awry and the threat from the hosts has been at a minimum.

Not happening for Walsall at the momenta and nothing to separate the two sides.

  6. Postpublished at 15:46 GMT 26 December 2025

    Cardiff 0-0 Exeter

Exeter have managed to get a number of shots despite heavy Cardiff possession and Jack Aitchison's venomous long-ranged effort stings Cardiff keeper Matthew Turner's gloves.

You'd fancy the Bluebirds in this but if Exeter can keep up this defence and find these pockets of opportunities... who knows?

    Fabrizio Cavegn (40 min)

What an impact Steve Evans is having at Bristol Rovers, they've scored two in six minutes to take a commanding lead against the Ravens!

This time Kamil Conteh plays through Fabrizio Cavegn in the box and cool as you like, he drives it into the bottom corner with a clinical finish - his first goal in 11 games.

  8. 'Grecians holding their own'published at 15:40 GMT 26 December 2025

    Cardiff 0-0 Exeter

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

This has been a solid first half from Exeter, who have been disciplined defensively and energetic out of possession to keep Cardiff at bay.

The League One leaders are struggling to find their flow at the moment.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:40 GMT 26 December 2025

    MK Dons 1-0 Swindon

Great game this and it's almost 2-0.

Having almost conceded the equaliser, the Dons get down the other end and almost double their lead as Liam Kelly's brilliant ball into the box is hit first-time by Aaron Collins.

But it comes cannoning back off the post, so unlucky for the hosts.

What a first half it's been for Burton who lead Northampton 3-1. Jack Armer and a Max Dyche own goal put the Brewers in a commanding position after Jake Beesley's early penalty, but the Cobblers have just pulled one back through Tom Eaves.

Louis Reed has pulled a goal back for Mansfield at Barnsley to make it 2-1.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:38 GMT 26 December 2025

    Blackpool 1-0 Doncaster

Albie Morgan's volley has got spice but Doncaster keeper Ian Lawlor is sharp to deny a second.

He's probably wishing his side could test a goalkeeper but so far, it's only the Rovers man whose had work to do with his gloves.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:35 GMT 26 December 2025

    Stockport 0-1 Lincoln

Getting heated now at Edgeley Park.

Tyler Onyango's foul on Lincoln's Adam Reach is a sharp one and sees the Imps man hitting the deck in some pain.

The away fans want a harsh punishment but it's just a yellow for Onyango. Despite his best efforts to escape with no punishment.

Moments later Stockport's Jack Diamond is hauled up for bringing down Tom Bayliss to make things a bit tetchy in the stands.

Jack Sparkes sparks the Memorial Stadium into life!

The Gas have lost all of their last five home games but they could be about to stop the rot as they take the lead late in the first half.

Sparkes picks the ball up on the left before beating a challenge and crashing a shot across Grant Smith's goal and into the top corner.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:33 GMT 26 December 2025

    MK Dons 1-0 Swindon

It would be 1-1 but for an incredible intervention on the line from the returning Jack Sanders for MK Dons!

Paul Glatzel's effort looked for all the money it was going in but somehow Sanders keeps it out with an unbelievable clearance.

Lincoln are quick up field to find Reeco Hackett, just outside the box and beginning to get swarmed by blue shirts but it matters not.

He's got his eyes on a line to goal and boots it, firing in a superb strike to find the net and score the opener.

  17. Postpublished at 15:29 GMT 26 December 2025

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Bromley

Bromley almost take the lead from a corner routine straight from the training ground, with Mitch Pinnock catching everyone out.

But Ben Krauhaus is there and has a shot from close range but puts it wide.

Shaq Forde's effort almost caught Ravens keeper Grant Smith out at his near post a couple of minutes before but it remains all square at the Memorial Stadium.

  19. 'Bluebirds having the better of it'published at 15:28 GMT 26 December 2025

    Cardiff 0-0 Exeter

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Cardiff have had the better of this game so far, without really seizing control.

Exeter keeper Joe Whitworth is down receiving treatment at the moment. Some of the less charitably minded members of the home crowd reckon his side are trying to waste time already, 25 minutes in.

    Walsall 0-0 Crewe

News of MK Dons' goal will be filtering through to fans at Bescot Stadium and they'll be sensing an opportunity.

The Saddlers are trying to find a way through and have chances through Rico Browne, whose acrobatic effort went wide, and Vincent Harper - who drew a save from Sam Waller in the Crewe net.

It's not all one-way traffic, though. The visitors have had chances of their own and have just seen an effort from Max Sanders go over the bar after some nice play from Tommi O'Reilly.

    An intriguing one, this.
