  1. goal

GOAL Luton 1-1 Stevenagepublished at 13:45 GMT 10 January

    Jordan Clark (55 mins)

The lead lasts under two minutes.

Stevenage fail to deal with a free kick into the box and the ball somehow arrives at the feet of Jordan Clark who sweeps home the equaliser.

Relief for the skipper after that penalty miss in the opening half.

Only the 19th league goal the visitors have conceded this season.

  2. Postpublished at 13:44 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

Jayden Fevrier this time causing problems down the right-hand side of the Terriers box and he almost dribbles his way through.

Huddersfield just can't get out of their own half.

Now a cross in from the right almost finds Kyle Wootton but he's well marshalled.

  3. 'You have to defend'published at 13:44 GMT 10 January

    Luton 0-1 Stevenage

    Simon Oxley
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

You can complain all you like about handball but you have to defend, it should be basic defending.

The referee says it hits the defender's shoulder but you have to defend and they allowed the cross to come in. Freestone wants it more than the Luton defence and gets his goal.

    Lewis Freestone (53 mins)

    Deadlock broken.

Another cross into the Luton box from Phoenix Patterson glances off a defender and Lewis Freestone launches himself at the ball to head beyond Josh Keeley.

A third goal of the season for the Stevenage defender.

  5. Postpublished at 13:41 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

Ben Osborn whips in a cross, but it's blocked out for another corner.

Ollie Norwood's far-post set-piece causes chaos and brings penalty appeals for handball.

Another corner is the result. Again Huddersfield do enough to clear, but it's quickly won back by the hosts who win a third corner in quick time.

More good work from the Huddersfield centre-halves sees another dangerous inswinger headed clear.

  6. Postpublished at 13:40 GMT 10 January

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

Jamie Reid gets his first proper look at goal.

It has taken 49 minutes as Jordan Roberts' stab towards goal arrives at the feet of Reid but from six yards he shoots over.

Luton's defenders look to the assistant referee - there was no offside flag forthcoming.

  7. 'Committed, pacy, but lacking quality'published at 13:38 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

    Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

Seems very familiar these first minutes of the second half. Committed, pacy, but again nobody having more than three passes.

Plenty of challenges going into it - that's the commitment side of it - both teams not wanting to give a single yard to each other.

But somebody's got to find a bit of space to put their foot on the ball and just start dictating a bit of quality play.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:36 GMT 10 January

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

A change for Luton at the break.

Shayden Morris is on for Lamine Fanne.

  9. Postpublished at 13:36 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

    No changes from either side.

Lee Grant will expect much more from his Huddersfield side. They are the division's leading scorers with 45 goals, but failed to threaten in the first period.

Stockport, for their part, have now gone five successive halves of football without a goal.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:35 GMT 10 January

    League One

    Goalkeepers and defences on top.

Someone needs to find their shooting boots.

    We are back at it.

  11. Still to comepublished at 13:28 GMT 10 January

League One & League Two (15:00 GMT)

We have four more games to bring you later this afternoon:

    League One

    • Leyton Orient v Cardiff City
    • Peterborough United v Bolton Wanderers

    League Two

    • Crewe Alexandra v Harrogate Town
    • Tranmere Rovers v Bromley
  12. 'Town taking too many risks'published at 13:23 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

There still looks a bit too much vulnerable space outside the Huddersfield Town penalty area for me when Osborn and Norwood come forward.

Town often taking one or two half risks by passing out short from goal kicks, inviting Stockport on, and sometimes being caught in possession before reaching halfway.

  13. 'Both sides showing attacking threat'published at 13:20 GMT 10 January

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

    Steve Watkins
    BBC Three Counties Radio

It was all Stevenage for half an hour but by half-time, Luton had good chances and probably ended up on top at the break.

It's good to see Stevenage almost back to where they were early in the season.

There's been a couple of real good opportunities for them which they haven't been able to take.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

Stockport have bossed the first half but struggled to carve out clear-cut chances, with Huddersfield doing a decent enough job of defending a string of crosses.

Kyle Wootton had the best opening when the ball dropped to him six yards out, but County's leading scorer missed his shot altogether.

Huddersfield have barely threatened and have been limited to just two touches in the Stockport box.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:19 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

    First booking of the match.

Odin Bailey loses possession on the edge of the Huddersfield penalty area as another promising attack breaks down and hacks down Bojan Radulovic as he looks to retrieve it.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 GMT 10 January

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

Stevenage goalkeeper Filip Marschall saves Jordan Clark's penaltyImage source, Shutterstock

No goals but it is not for the want of trying.

Luton have missed the best chance with Jordan Clark seeing his penalty well saved by the Stevenage goalkeeper Filip Marschall, although the award of the spot-kick looked harsh in the first place.

Marschall has also denied Lamine Fanne from distance.

Luton goalkeeper Josh Keeley has also been called into action, saving brilliantly at point-blank range from Jordan Roberts while Christ Makosso made a vital interception to prevent Lewis Freestone nudging the visitors ahead.

It may just take the one goal to settle this.

  17. 'Bad decisions'published at 13:18 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

    Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

When Town have got into decent positions the pass just hasn't been right. A couple of time Gooch has made bad decisions and Radulovic as well.

Town have defended well though in the first half, away at a play-off rival in Stockport.

  18. INJURY TIMEpublished at 13:16 GMT 10 January

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

We're into two minutes of stoppage time.

  19. Postpublished at 13:16 GMT 10 January

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

We will have two minutes of stoppage time, although Filip Marschall is now down injured in the Stevenage goal so we will go beyond that.

  20. 'Luton having too much possession'published at 13:15 GMT 10 January

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

    Steve Watkins
    BBC Three Counties Radio

Well-struck effort. Goode not even flinched there as it came off his head and span away for a corner.

This is what Stevenage don't want. It's too much possession for Luton. Stevenage have got to be more careful because they're allowing them to play at their pace.
