    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

Pressure from Stockport now as a good move down the left ends with Jack Diamond's cross just evading the head of Kyle Wootton.

The hosts keep the move alive and another dangerous Diamond cross is scrambled clear.

A concern for Huddersfield as leading scorer Bojan Radulovic needs treatment. Tayo Edun looked to tread on his foot, but he's back up and able to continue.

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

Jamie Reid picks up an excellent touch from Dan Kemp from a clearance and tries to catch Josh Keeley off his line but the shot is straight at the Luton goalkeeper.

The idea was right, the execution not so much.

There's some poor first touches from both sides. A lot of balls being lost.

    A scrappy start.

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

The ball is spending an awful lot of time in mid-air as both sides slug it out in midfield.

A rapid Huddersfield counterattack ends with Lynden Gooch's shot deflected out for the game's first corner.

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

Nigel Lonwijk lines one up for Luton but Lewis Freestone throws his body in the way to make an excellent defensive block for the visitors.

The home side just settling down into some decent passages of possession.

    Stockport 0-0 Huddersfield

    Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

I think Stockport have shown straight away what they're about today. They're getting the ball forward very quickly. They're going to put a lot of pressure on Town if they don't clear the ball properly.

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

Luton borrowed some covers to protect the pitch ahead of this one to ensure the game went ahead.

Stevenage have made a strong start with Dan Phillips and Phoenix Patterson to the fore.

A good atmosphere inside Kenilworth Road as well.

    Stockport County 0-0 Huddersfield Town

A neat Stockport move sends Jayden Fevrier away down the right flank.

He shows a nice burst of pace but gets the cross all wrong and it's straight out for a goalkick.

    Luton 0-0 Stevenage

It might take about 30 minutes to get from Stevenage to Luton but the visitors have arrived at Kenilworth Road in taxis as their team coach broke down.

Not the most auspicious of starts to their day.

Notably there is no Teden Mengi for Luton Town with the defender the subject of transfer speculation although boss Jack Wilshere has said the defender has picked up a muscle injury.

His omission is one of seven changes made by Wilshere with Josh Keeley replacing the benched James Shea in goal and new Manchester City loan signing Emilio Lawrence making his debut.

Christ Makosso, Mads Andersen, Lamine Fanne, Gideon Kodua and Nahki Wells also start.

Among the substitutes are Revell Walters, George Saville, Cohen Bramall, Jerry Yates and Shayden Morris.

Dan Sweeney, Jordan Houghton and Jovan Malcolm all drop to the bench as Stevenage make three changes from the side which drew with Plymouth on New Year's Day.

Into the starting Xl come Dan Kemp, Jordan Roberts and Charlie Goode.

With only 16 miles separating these two clubs, this is a derby if ever there was one, but which only began with the teams on an equal footing in 2009.

Luton were rebuilding after relegation to the National League while Stevenage were on their way to the title and a first taste of the Football League.

A lot has happened since then; the Hatters have been all the way to the Premier League and back to the third tier while The Boro have diced with a return to the non-league ranks in between yo-yoing from League Two and League One.

Alex Revell's side touch down at Kenilworth Road one place and two points better off than their opponents but on a faltering run which has produced only one win from their past six and has seen them slip out of the play-off places.

Luton may just be kicking into gear with an unbeaten six-match run at home although a New Year's Day loss at Exeter has stalled their revival and with the division's best defence to crack this lunchtime this is a good test for their promotion aspirations.

Stevenage meanwhile are going for just their second double over the Hatters.

    This should be good.

  14. One change for Stockport; Huddersfield make fourpublished at 12:21 GMT 10 January

Stockport boss Dave Challinor makes just one change to the side beaten at Readng on Sunday.

Odin Bailey comes in for Malik Mothersille, with new signing Josh Stokes named on the bench alongside fellow midfielder Jid Okeke after his recall from a loan spell at Walsall.

There's four changes for Huddersfield after their 2-2 draw with Exeter as midfielder Cameron Humphreys goes straight into the side after joining on loan from Ipswich in midweek.

Central defender Joe Low returns for the Terriers, with Ruben Roosken and Dion Charles also back in the starting XI, while keeper Jak Alnwick is on the bench following his move from Cardiff.

While we're only just past the midway point in another marathon campaign, neither side will want to lose much more ground.

Stockport and Huddersfield sit nestled in the play-off spots, with just goal difference keeping the Terriers above their hosts, but both are nine points off the automatic promotion pace.

The Hatters are in poor form, with just one win their past five at home and only three wins in 10 league matches since the beginning of November.

Huddersfield, meanwhile, are in better shape form-wise and are unbeaten in seven in the league, but have drawn four in that run to allow Lincoln and Cardiff to scorch off up the road.

The visitors have been busy in the transfer market, bringing in goalkeeper Jak Alnwick, while midfielder Cameron Humphreys is an eye-catching signing.

The leaders, Cardiff City will be confident of making it four wins from five games at struggling Leyton Orient.

Victory for the Bluebirds would take them six points clear after Bradford City's game with Rotherham United was postponed earlier today.

Stockport County against Huddersfield Town and Luton Town's meeting with Stevenage will have a big impact on the play-off race.
