  1. 'Crewe successful down the left'published at 15:15 GMT 10 January

    Crewe 0-0 Harrogate

    Peter Morse
Crewe summariser on BBC Radio Stoke

Crewe have been successful down the left hand side opening Harrogate up twice in 10 minutes.

Holicek could've taken a bit more care though to make sure he missed out the defender.

    Oh dear Nathan Trott.

The Cardiff goalkeeper is caught trying to play out from the back as he dithers on the ball and Dom Ballard closes him down to nick it off him and score his 12th goal of the season.

    When will these teams learn?

  3. Postpublished at 15:13 GMT 10 January

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Cardiff

Yousef Salech already has 12 goals for Cardiff this season and he fancies making it a baker's dozen.

The striker is sent away by Will Fish and Killian Cahill makes a fine save as Salech tries to dink it over the Leyton Orient goalkeeper.

The home side cannot afford to offer him too many more chances like that.

    Tranmere 0-1 Bromley

Tranmere haven't had a great time of it at Prenton Park lately and they need to respond to that early strike from Michael Cheek.

Kristian Dennis went close with an angled shot that took a deflection and ended up on the roof of the Bromley net, but the visitors remain in front.

  5. Postpublished at 15:11 GMT 10 January

    Peterborough 0-0 Bolton

Both sides looking to attack here which is promising.

Leonard creates a little space inside the Bolton box and then cuts back, but Trotters defender George Johnston is there again to clear.

Back up the other end as good work from Amario Cozier-Duberry sees him beat two men down the right.

He picks out Thierry Gale in space on the edge of the box, but he sends his effort over the bar.

  6. 'Lawlor best player on the pitch'published at 15:08 GMT 10 January

    Crewe 0-0 Harrogate

    Peter Morse
Crewe summariser on BBC Radio Stoke

Lawlor has a big kick, he can go from one end of the pitch to the other.

He's had to be on his toes so far but I think I'd give him man of the match at this point.

  7. Postpublished at 15:07 GMT 10 January

    Crewe 0-0 Harrogate

It's a significant day for both goalkeepers at Mornflake Stadium.

Ian Lawlor makes his Crewe debut after signing on a free transfer from Doncaster, while Mark Oxley has now racked up a century of games in goal for Harrogate.

They'd both love to celebrate the occasion with a clean sheet, no doubt. Long way to go, of course...

  8. Postpublished at 15:07 GMT 10 January

    Peterborough 0-0 Bolton

Peterborough show first as the dangerous Kyrell Lisbie sends a cross into the box from the left, but George Johnston heads clear.

At the other end, Jordie Osei-Tutu plays a clever ball in behind for Mason Burstow.

He in turn picks out Theirry Gale at the far post, but his curling effort is blocked.

Bolton have had the better of their recent meetings and are unbeaten in seven against Posh.

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Cardiff

Leyton Orient are the first to show in this one.

Will Fish blocks a powerful effort from Ollie O'Neill.

Orient have lost their past three games in the league and need to stop the rot.

Great start for the League Two leaders!

Only 90 seconds so have elapsed as Mitch Pinnock whips in a cross from the left, right onto the head of Michael Cheek who nods it down and into the Tranmere net.

That's 13 goals for Cheek this season - lucky 13 for Bromley.

  12. Postpublished at 15:02 GMT 10 January

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Cardiff

Leyton Orient have handed a first league start to Alfie Lloyd for this one.

Will Forrester and Michael Craig also start with Omar Beckles and Jack Moorhouse on the bench but there is no Zech Obiero.

Cardiff also make three changes as Will Fish, Gabriel Osho and Ollie Tanner come in for the benched Dylan Lawlor with Calum Chambers and Cian Ashford both absent.

  15. Embargoed Bluebirds still on the chargepublished at 14:55 GMT 10 January

Leyton Orient v Cardiff City (15:00 GMT)

All is well on the pitch for Cardiff, not so much off it.

Victory for the Bluebirds in London will send them six points clear at the top of League One as they seek an instant return to the Championship.

Any hopes for some additions to further strengthen their squad have hit a bump in the road today with the news they are now under a transfer embargo.

According to a club statement , externalit should all be sorted by the end of next week, but let's face it, it's never a good look is it?

Leyton Orient are all in order off the pitch with financial and ownership issues now a distant memory, on the playing side things have all got a bit messy with Richie Wellens' side only one point clear of danger.

This is all a far cry from last season's play-off final but, along with Doncaster, having the worst defensive record in League One means you do not need to go far to see where their troubles lie.

You get the feeling life is not about to get any easier for the home side this afternoon.

  16. Can improving Posh push on against stuttering Trotters?published at 14:51 GMT 10 January

    Peterborough v Bolton (15:00 GMT)

Much of the pre-match talk among the London Road faithful may be about matters off the field.

Peterborough this week became the latest EFL club to receive American investment after US businessmen Gary Graham and Greg Barr bought minority stakes in the League One club.

Fortunes on the pitch have begun to look rosier since Luke Williams arrived, but Posh's unbeaten six-match run came to a shuddering halt last weekend with a 5-2 hammering at promotion chasers Lincoln.

Bolton sit in the play-off spots in sixth after Stockport's late win, but now lie a full nine points outside the automatic promotion spots after a run of one win in five matches.

Their away form of late doesn't offer an enormous amount of hope, with just two wins from their past 14 league outings on the road and one clean sheet.

Perhaps the midweek arrival of Shelbourne defender Lewis Temple could help plug the hole in the leaky defence.

  17. High-flying Ravens seek seventh win in a rowpublished at 14:47 GMT 10 January

    Tranmere v Bromley (15:00 GMT)

    Bromley's Michael CheekImage source, Shutterstock

Bromley are flying high – and today brings an opportunity for Andy Woodman’s in-form side to extend their lead at the top by snapping up another three points at Prenton Park.

Six straight victories propelled the Ravens to the summit just before the turn of the year and, with nearest challengers Swindon inactive this weekend, a seventh will put them five points clear.

Top scorer Michael Cheek became the first Bromley player to register an EFL hat-trick in the 3-1 win at Crawley that took his side top and you have to go back to late September to find the last time the Ravens registered a blank.

Although opponents Tranmere begin the day in 17th place, they haven’t been shy in front of goal – only three other League Two sides, including Bromley, have scored more than Rovers’ 39 this season.

The Merseysiders also came from 3-1 down to claim a point when the sides met at Hayes Lane back in October, maintaining their overall undefeated record in EFL meetings with Bromley.

But the bad news for Tranmere is that their recent home form leaves a lot to be desired, suffering heavy defeats in two of their last three games at Prenton Park, against Crewe and Barrow.

  18. Struggling Harrogate hope to change direction at Crewepublished at 14:44

    Crewe v Harrogate (15:00 GMT)

Harrogate Town manager Simon WeaverImage source, Shutterstock

Three and a half months – that’s how much time has elapsed since Harrogate Town’s players earned themselves a win bonus in an EFL fixture.

Town have played 14 games since Stephen Duke-McKenna’s winner against Gillingham at Priestfield in late September, gleaning a miserable three points in total to sink to the foot of the table.

Goals have been a problem all season – Harrogate’s tally of 18 is the lowest in the division – and they’ve found the net once in their last six league games. That came from the penalty spot, with Conor McAleny’s successful kick securing a 1-1 draw at Cheltenham.

And yet… just one victory would lift Simon Weaver’s side above the dotted line. That looks like a tough assignment at Mornflake Stadium, even though Crewe’s form has been patchy in recent weeks.

The Alex’s 4-1 hammering of Cheltenham on New Year’s Day was only their second success in nine games, although Lee Bell’s side remain undefeated in their last six on home turf.

With their immediate challengers not in League Two action today, Bromley have the chance to move five points clear at the top with a win at Tranmere Rovers.

Victory for Harrogate Town at Crewe Alexandra would be enough to move them out of the relegation zone albeit they have taken only two points from a possible 42 and their last victory was on September 27.
