Sam Curran is 23 not out from 16 balls.

England need 62 off 30 balls now but West Indies' seamers still have to come back on so this one is not done yet.

That's good bowling by Roston Chase at a stage of the game where the batter might be looking to target him.

Three reds. Gone! England are subsiding here.

Slightly quicker from Roston Chase but it straightened sufficiently according to the ball-tracking technology.

Will Jacks has been done by the pace here. The question is, has this pitched in line?

Later in the over, Roston Chase hits Will Jacks on the pad this time.

    Given out on the field.

Will Jacks isn’t loving his new role down the order as a finisher.

He has a far better record when batting in the top 3 compared to four or lower:

    • 1-3: Avg 29 | SR 153
    • 4+: Avg 12 | SR 144

The England cricket team may as well pack their bags and head home - struggled against Nepal and staring down the barrel in this game vs West Indies.

    Paul, Egham

Even with lucking into the easiest T20 World Cup group in history, we were lucky to beat Nepal and bang in trouble here. Yet we'll get shot after shot of McCullum looking smug on the balcony, I've had enough.

A chunky inside edge from the bat of Sam Curran before it hit the pad.

Now then. Sam Curran is hit on the pad by Roston Chase.

There looks to be some bat on this and West Indies decide to review.

Given not out on the field.

    Will Jacks the new batter.

Gudakesh Motie finishes with 3-33 from his spell.

England need to go at 11 an over now.

It's an excellent piece of bowling from Gudakesh Motie. The ball just holds on the pitch with the lack of pace and Harry Brook is through the shot slightly too early.

It feels like such a critical moment in the game. Harry Brook is such an important player in run chases like this for England, who will now have to rebuild.

Not these two, Maurice. Not these two.

It's not been the most fluent innings from Harry Brook and it's curtailed by Gudakesh Motie.

Brook attempts to work the left-arm spinner to the leg side and a leading edge spoons up, which Motie gobbles up like a ravenous Pac-Man.

England don't need to take big risks to score 12 runs an over. I can't see them playing a risky shot in the last couple of overs against the spin despite scoring 24 runs.

Sam Curran shows us just why he is so valuable to this England squad. There's something about him and Indian conditions. He just revels in these conditions.

Sam Curran gets a bit of a freebit from Gudakesh Motie and duly punishes him. A fraction short and Curran muscles it over the square-leg boundary for six.

Harry Brook can't afford to sit back and let the others soak up the pressure, thinking he can accelerate later. That's what got Bethell out. Especially as captain, he needs to lead from the front. He's no Jos Buttler.

It's very sensible from England this. It shows the confidence that they have in themselves. They will know the opportunity to attack will come.
