This partnership from the Bryce sisters is now at 100. Great innings from these two.

You do have to be adaptable. Things aren't going right for Ireland, it's starting to get to around ten an over.

    This partnership needs breaking.

    Sco 138-2

The latest of late cuts slides past the keeper to the rope at third and Kathryn Bryce has a fine 50 from 32 deliveries.

Everything was looking good after the first five deliveries but that last six means Scotland are in a comfortable spot.

    I think 180 is a winning score.

Kathryn Bryce is motoring along, slog-sweeping Aimee Maguire high over midwicket for another maximum.

And bang on cue, the sun comes out! It's not quite cracking flags, but we're getting there.

Our colleagues at History of the BBC have raided the archives and collated a wonderful page full of content related to the BBC’s coverage of women’s sport down the years.

You’ll find things like a 17-year-old Charlotte Edwards appearing on Blue Peter and reflections from broadcasting pioneers like Clare Balding, Gabby Logan and Alison Mitchell.

There’s a silent film from 1948 right through to short films/packages made in recent years. It’s a real treasure trove of material.

Alana Dalzell is on at the Sir James Anderson End, but it's a poor start as she sends down a leg-side wide.

You've got to know your players and I feel like Ireland haven't done their research.

Everything is reactive. Oh no, a four, let me change my field, oh no, it's gone over the fielders, let me change. They've not been great with their plans. I'd love to speak to their analyst and hear what they've been saying.

  11. Sco 113-2published at 13 overs

Arlene Kelly comes into the attack for Ireland, who are desperate to stem the scoring. Some solid line and length, with the hint of inswing, does the job - just two singles from the first five balls but she ruins the hard work with one that is short and wide and Sarah Bryce carves it for four.

I hate rubbish cricket, it really frustrates me. Simple, simple things that are wrong really frustrates me.

  13. Sco 107-2published at 12 overs

Aimee Maguire gives Sarah Bryce an easy start to the next over, a full toss allowing the batter to smash another boundary, this time to cover.

Her sister then gets in on the act, sweeping another full-bunger to the rope at deep fine leg. The final delivery also goes for four, Bryce (K) slapping a full pitch past extra cover.

Poor bowling from Ireland, it feels like the wheels are coming off.

That's poor. Whether that's the bowler or the captain, it's poor. Hitting that shot is so easy, too easy.

Scotland needed a big over like that but for Ireland, Murray needs to put her foot down.

  15. Sco 91-2published at 10 overs

More great work from Sarah Bryce as she dances down the pitch to drive the ball to the boundary again, seeing the ball go between two sliding fielders.

And from the next she slog-sweeps high over cow corner, the ball dropping over the rope by 15 yards.

20 from that over, Scotland are eyeing a big total now.

A gorgeous cover drive from Sarah Bryce sees the ball skim over the turf to the boundary from the first of Cara Murray's next over.

That was horrific, it was poor, it was awful. I know we've only had a couple of games but that was the worst bit of cricket I've seen so far in this tournament.

I won't be surprised if it's still the worst bit of cricket I've seen in a week or two.

  18. Sco 71-2published at 9 overs

Orla Prendergast's day isn't improving, as Kathryn Bryce cuts high towards Alana Dalzell on the boundary.

It should be taken, but the fielder misjudges it, running in too far and seeing the ball fly over her.

Boundaries are quite hard to come by, it's because the outfield is so slow.

  20. Sco 63-2published at 9 overs

Cara Murray's first over of brisk leg-spin is worked around for seven runs with some comfort as Scotland start to tick over.
