WICKET AND FIVE-WICKET HAULpublished at 16:27 BST 20 June

    Thomas c Cooke b Norton 25 (Glamorgan v Surrey 75-7)

Straight after tea, Glamorgan strike once more, and Tom Norton has five-for!

Can you believe this? The 18-year-old has 5-31.

Adam Thomas is caught on the hook, ballooning the ball behind the stumps, and Chris Cooke makes the simplest of catches with the gloves.

Surrey still trail by 283. They've had a shocker of a day.

  2. Tea at Chesterfieldpublished at 16:25 BST 20 June

    Derbyshire 364 v Lancashire 161 & 57-3

Derbyshire boss this game, much to the delight of most of those in attendance at Chesterfield.

Ben Aitchison's big-swinging 75 added valuable runs at a high nuisance factor, while they have been very disciplined with the ball.

Rory Haydon has removed both Lancashire openers and with the deficit still 146, could they force a two-day win?

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:23 BST 20 June

    O'Neill st Pepper b Critchley 61 (Essex 184 v Notts 377-7)

Not too many celebrations among the Essex fielders.

Fergus O'Neill comes down the strip to Matt Critchley but connects only with thin air and Michael Pepper whips off the bails.

The ball turned a long way which will interest the incoming Notts batsman, Liam Patterson-White who spun out Essex in the first innings with a six-fer.

  4. Tea at Canterburypublished at 16:22 BST 20 June

    Kent 416 v Middlesex 180-6

Kent continue to enjoy Canterbury week as they claim four wickets in the afternoon sun, with two each for the skiddy pace of Hasan Mahmud and Matt Parkinson's leg-breaks.

Max Holden is playing a lone hand with his 72 not out. If nobody offers valuable support, Middlesex may be batting again if they cannot get to the follow-on target of 267.

  5. Tea at Hovepublished at 16:22 BST 20 June

    Sussex v Hants 129-6 - lead by 161 runs

What an incredible second day we've had and it remains totally in the balance at Hove.

The home side ripped through the top order in their second innings and, at one stage, Hampshire were 26-5.

But Hampshire have fought back since, and with the sun now out, the pitch is looking a lot easier to score on.

The visitors have ticked past three figures and if they can push a target past the 200-mark, they may well feel confident that they can defend that tally and claim just a second win of the County Championship season.

  6. Evening session begins at Cardiffpublished at 16:22 BST 20 June

    Glamorgan v Surrey 74-6 - trail by 284

A confident Glamorgan side hold a team huddle before the final session on day two at Sophia Gardens.

Gus Atkinson (0*) and Adam Thomas (25*) are out there for Surrey and it's good news for Glammy fans as Tom Norton (4-33) is back into the attack straight after the tea break.

Fergus O'Neill swipes Matt Critchley over long on for a one-bounce four.

A seventh first-class 50 for the Notts seamer from 44 balls.

  9. Tea at Tauntonpublished at 16:13 BST 20 June

    Somerset 208 v Warks 241-5

The second new ball is due but with just one over to tea, Somerset skipper Craig Overton chooses to keep his powder dry.

Jack Leach concedes a solitary single.

Warwickshire have had to work hard today, but they go to tea with a 33-run lead and five wickets still intact.

They lost Sam Hain (65) and Ed Barnard (19) in the session, to Alfie Ogborne and Jack Leach, respectively, as the Somerset bowlers continued to keep things tight after lunch.

Beau Webster became the third Bear to reach fifty and he remains unbeaten at the interval on 58.

  10. Tea at Chester-le-Streetpublished at 16:11 BST 20 June

    Durham 183-3 v Northants 450

    Are England missing Ben Stokes?

Well Durham are thankful for his presence at Chester-le-Street with the Test skipper going on the attack having come in at 30-3.

Stokes (95*) and Will Rhodes (58*) have staged a counter-attack and the follow-on target of 301 suddenly looks more than achievable.

Both players have been dropped and Northants may rue those misses having made such a good start with the ball.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:10 BST 20 June

    Bohannon lbw b Aitchison 3 (Derbyshire 364 v Lancashire 161 & 54-3)

Lancashire need a big contribution from their vice-captain, but his very poor form continues.

Ben Aitchison strikes him in front, appeals confidently and up goes the finger.

It is 147 runs in 11 innings for Bohannon since his last half-century and the Red Rose could do with much better from the number three.

There's a wry shake of the head as he walks off. It may be his last bat in the middle until August.

  12. 350 up for Nottspublished at 16:09 BST 20 June

    Essex 184 v Notts 351-6

On and on they go, grinding Essex into the Chelmsford dirt.

Fergus O'Neill batters a Matt Critchley delivery away to the mid-wicket fence.

Up comes the Notts 350 and the lead moves to 167 runs.

  13. 150 runs

    150 partnershippublished at 16:07 BST 20 June

    Durham 180-3 v Northants 450

Ben Stokes (94*) and Will Rhodes (56*) have shared 150 runs together and it is far from over from the looks of things.

Northants seem a little quiet out there having seen Durham rebuild from 30-3.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:06 BST 20 June

    Jones c Guest b Haydon 29 (Derbyshire 364 v Lancashire 161 & 50-2)

Rory Haydon strikes again and now both Lancashire openers have gone.

Michael Jones makes an unusual move with his back leg as Haydon bustles in but the bowler has the last laugh as the batter feathers behind.

A 74-ball effort from the Scotland batter, but now the Red Rose are in trouble.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:04 BST 20 June

    Morgan c Dudgeon b Parkinson 6 (Kent 416 v Middlesex 159-6)

A wily spinner dismissing a teenage all-rounder. That's all about experience!

Matt Parkinson gives one a little bit more air and Seb Morgan takes the bait. A bit of turn, the edge of the bat and the ball is safely in the hands of Keith Dudgeon at first slip.

A good day is rapidly turning into a great one for Kent.

  16. 50 runs

    Somerset 208 v Warks 231-5

Beau Webster is enjoying himself again against the Cider Boys.

Having smashed a remarkable T20 century against Somerset earlier this month, the Australian brings up a red-ball fifty off 86 balls with a swept four off Archie Vaughan.

He becomes the third Bears batter to raise his bat for fifty, but can he go better than Sam Hain (65) and Dan Mousley (54) and put his side in the box seat?

  17. Postpublished at 16:02 BST 20 June

    Essex 184 v Notts 344-6

    Back out at Chelmsford.

There may be some sore limbs in the Essex side and the hard work is far from done.

Matt Critchley is going to get us under way again with some leggies.

  18. Tea at Grace Roadpublished at 16:02 BST 20 June

    Leics 377-5 v Yorks 185

Dom Bess in for the final over before tea and Nick Kelly goes aerial and picks up two more to move to 114.

The spinner then runs one past Kelly's outside edge, but that's the end of the drama for the afternoon session.

Another good one for Leicestershire who lost Rehan Ahmed and Ben Cox but have added 124 runs to advance their lead to 192.

Still 40 overs left today, so settle in for a late finish at Grace Road.

  19. Tea at Cardiffpublished at 16:01 BST 20 June

    Glamorgan v Surrey 74-6 - trail by 284

An extraordinary second session on day two comes to an end at Sophia Gardens.

What a superb spell we saw from 18-year-old Tom Norton.

The right-arm seamer claimed four of Surrey's top five batters in a devestating first five overs.

Before then, Rory Burns was run out in bizarre circumstances, and Surrey find themselves in huge trouble, still 284 runs behind with four wickets remaining.

Gus Atkinson (0*) and Adam Thomas (25*) will return to the crease with 44 overs still left in the day. Surrey will do extremely well to prevent the follow-on here.

  20. Tea at Worcesterpublished at 16:01 BST 20 June

    Worcs 126-3 v Glos 289

A fine session for Gloucestershire as they have taken three Worcestershire wickets and made scoring runs extremely hard.

The deficit for the Pears is 163 heading into the final session. It feels like either side could take charge by the end of play.
