    Leics 403-5 v Yorks 185

Craig Overton lets loose a roar of appeal - he thinks he's got Zen Malik strangled down the legside. Nothing doing.

Malik goes to drive at a ball which nips back and passes between his inside edge and off-stump. Beauty! Maiden.

  9. Stokes bowled on 95published at 16:44 BST 20 June

    Durham 185-4 v Northants 450

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Ben Stokes didn't add to his score after tea, after he was bowled by Harry Conway in the second over of the evening session.

The ball pitched on a length and never really got up. It hit his off-stump and took him completely by surprise. A really unlucky ball to get out to!

A number of spectators gave him a standing ovation as he headed back up the pavilion steps. More importantly he's put on 153 for the fourth wicket with Will Rhodes.

Durham had been 30-3 when he came out to the middle. Rhodes has 58. The follow-on target is 301.

    Webster lbw b Ball 64 (Somerset 208 v Warks 249-6)

Jake Ball gets one to nip back in a little and Beau Webster plays around it.

It thuds into the front pad just below the knee roll and the finger goes up.

Another Bears batter fails to go on after passing fifty as the Australia all-rounder falls for 65. Important wicket for Somerset.

Jordan Thompson joins Zen Malik with the lead at 41.

The former Notts quick has his hands on his head immediately as the first ball finds Beau Webster's inside edge which squirts past the stumps.

Zen Malik plays into the offside for a single to get his account up and running after the interval before Webster drives beautifully through the covers for four to move into the 60s.

    Erm....oh...

That keeps low and Ben Stokes is bowled by Harry Conway.

The bowler dropped Stokes when he was on 43 so there's a little bit of revenge if you want to call it that.

The crowd rise to give the England Test skipper a standing ovation.

    Graham Clark is next in.

Postpublished at 16:35 BST 20 June

    Essex 184 v Notts 389-7

    The torture continues for Essex.

Liam Patterson hits Matt Critchley for four and then launches him over the rope and out of the ground for a maximum.

Out comes the bag of balls as that one is not coming back and is currently heading down the Southway in central Chelmsford.

  16. get involved

Get Involvedpublished at 16:32 BST 20 June

Being too slow was always a criticism of him when he was on the England fringes, but from where I am sitting, Matt Parkinson looks like he's added a bit of zip into his run up and action. Good spell this afternoon!

    Mark James at Canterbury

Leg-spinners always require a chance to develop their skills and hone their craft and Matt Parkinson is possibly a good example of that.

  17. Leicestershire lead passes 200published at 16:32 BST 20 June

    Leics 386-5 v Yorks 185

Spinner Dom Bess returns to bowl, with the second new ball which is only 13 overs old.

Three singles takes the Leicestershire lead above 200 with five wickets still in hand.

Time enough for maximum batting points, too.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:32 BST 20 June

    Atkinson c Tribe b Hadley 1 (Glamorgan 358 v Surrey 75-8)

And another! The follow-on looms for Surrey.

You would imagine Glamorgan captain Kiran Carlson will be thinking of that right now in the slip cordon.

Next to him, Asa Tribe, takes an excellent low catch at second slip and Gus Atkinson walks for just one.

Sean Abbott walks out to the middle for Surrey. They need another 134 runs to prevent the follow-on.

  19. Play resumes at Chester-le-Streetpublished at 16:30 BST 20 June

    Durham 183-3 v Northants 450

A cuppa and a slice of fruitcake (well we'd like to think that's what they have) and we are back out at Chester-le-Street.

Can Mr Stokes get his century?

  20. Evening session begins at Grace Roadpublished at 16:29 BST 20 June

    Leics 383-5 v Yorks 185

George Hill is in for the first over after tea and Joey Evison courts danger with the very first ball.

He mistimes a drive and a thick outside edge runs for for four down to third man.

Just the 39 overs left in an extended evening session. This could be real toil for the visitors.
