Essex 184 v Notts 200-5
After a tight start from Essex Notts have found run scoring a little easier.
This game could get away from them very quickly if they are not careful.

Essex 184 v Notts 200-5
After a tight start from Essex Notts have found run scoring a little easier.
This game could get away from them very quickly if they are not careful.
Derbyshire 329-7 v Lancashire 161
Lancashire grab the second new ball and throw it to Mitch Stanley and from the third ball, he has Anuj Dal inside-edging, but it's too fast for Joe Moores to stop behind the stumps and races down for four.
That probably sums up the current state of things for the Red Rose.
Essex 184 v Notts 198-5
Another one goes down for Essex.
Matt Critchley is offered a sharp, low caught and bowled chance by Lyndon James but cannot get down quick enough.
Essex then think James may have edged to slip but it came off his pad.
Kent 416 v Middlesex 32-2
Keith Dudgeon opens the afternoon session with a maiden to Leus du Plooy.
But the last ball keeps a bit low and goes past du Plooy's willow and the stumps. That would be a concern if Middlesex were 200 behind, never mind nearly 400 behind.
Lehmann b Price 2 (Sussex v Hants 17-3 - lead by 49)
Bowled him all ends up! Jake Lehmann is castled for 2!
Beautiful line and length from Tom Price, who claims his fifth wicket of the match, and Lehmann has no answer this.
His off stump and leg stump falls while his middle stump remains standing - what a sight!
Tom Prest walks to the crease for Hampshire. 10 wickets have fallen for just 55 runs on day two, if my maths is correct.
McKinney c Vasconcelos b Sanderson 9 (Durham 19-2 v Northants 450)
Told you they needed to be careful.
Ben McKinney nicks Ben Sanderson's second ball after the interval and first innings centurion Ricardo Vasconcelos does the rest behind the timbers.
In comes David Bedingham.
Durham 19-1 v Northants 450
Durham have to be a bit careful in this afternoon session.
They trail by 431 runs.
Sussex v Hants 11-2 - lead by 43
Jake Lehmann drives the first ball of his second innings into the offside for a couple.
Every run counts in this match!
Essex 184 v Notts 197-5
Off we go again at Chelmsford.
Lyndon James is out there for Notts to replace Kyle Verreynne who was dismissed just before the break.

Sussex v Hants 9-2 - lead by 41
We are back under way over grey skies at Hove.
What an extraordinary first session we've had as well as Hampshire picked up Sussex's final seven wickets for just 31 runs before losing both of their openers in the 20 minutes before lunch.

Where is this heatwave, then? The mist that lingered over the Quantocks this morning was followed by a thick blanket of cloud, twice developing into showers that limited the first session to 19 overs.
Alas for Somerset, that cloud did not induce the swing that Warwickshire’s opening bowlers found under similar cover yesterday, and the Bears made stately progress towards Somerset’s first innings total.
They were only 70 behind when the second shower brought lunch. The other Warwickshire players may have to give Dan Mousley a bit of space while he eats his, however, having been visibly furious to get out three overs before the break.
He had appeared in no trouble at all while assembling his third fifty-plus score of the season, and must have been confident of quite a few more before jabbing at a rising delivery from Josh Shaw.
Sam Hain batted in a bubble for four hours at Scarborough on Monday and seems to be back in it here. He has hit nine fours so far. It would be more accurate to say he has stroked them, his timing impeccable, the best a wristy steer through the legside between two fielders specifically placed to stop it.
Only Alfie Ogborne, an injury substitute for pectoral-tear victim Migael Pretorius, has found the edge of his bat, but even then Hain managed to keep the ball on the ground to pick up four to third man.

Glamorgan’s cricketers have continued to make progress on the second day of their county championship match against Surrey at Cardiff.
Despite losing Chris Cooke in the first over who was bowled by Gus Atkinsosn without adding to his overnight score of 101 , the hosts managed to accumulate a further 106 runs thanks to another valuable partnership between Mason Crane and Colin Ingram.
Crane, making his maiden first-class century having got out on 99 earlier in the season, was finally out for 106 while Colin Ingram is unbeaten on 78, the pair making an eighth wicket stand of 106.
Glamorgan at lunch on the second day are in an encouraging position on 350-8.
Lunch: Sussex 159 v Hampshire 191 & 9-2

If the cloud cover stays around the Hove ground and the pitch, which in the words of Nick Gubbins (last night) stays as ‘prepared with a result in mind’, then we are in danger of finishing this evening.
It’s been breathless this morning with nine wickets falling for just 47 runs in the two hours of play.
Is the pitch unplayable? No.
Is it tricky? Yes. Add in the overheads and it’s a medium to medium quick bowlers dream. See Kyle Abbott!!

Leics 253-3 v Yorks 185
George Hill lets out an appeal in hope rather than expectation after wrapping Rehan Ahmed on the pad. Comfortably going down leg.
Ahmed (114*) and Nick Kelly (44*) pick up a single apiece and that will be that for the morning session.
It's been another excellent morning for the hosts and a chastening one for Yorkshire.
Rehan Ahmed's century has been the highlight as he and Nick Kelly have added 76 runs this morning - despite a 50-minute rain delay - and crucially without loss.
After starting the day eight runs in deficit, the Foxes now lead by 68.
Somerset 208 v Warks 138-3
The rain has returned to further frustrate the punters at Taunton trying to enjoy a day-off at the cricket.
And that's lunch.
Sam Hain has batted through the session, moving to 63 after resuming on 37, while new batter Beau Webster goes to lunch on one.
Josh Shaw has the one wicket to fall this morning, removing Dan Mousley for 54 after the first delay for rain and bad light.
The visitors trail by 70.
Leics 250-3 v Yorks 185
Dan Moriarty took two of the three Leicestershire wickets to fall on Friday in his return to the Yorkshire side and he comes on for his first spell of day two.
It's a real loosener as his first ball is a filthy drag down and Rehan Ahmed pounces, driving down the ground for four.
Ahmed then thrashes a wide ball outside off-stump for four through the covers to bring up Leicestershire's first batting bonus point.
Welcome back, Dan.
Crane b Lawrence 106 (Glamorgan 350-8 v Surrey)
Mason Crane's fabulous innings eventually comes to an end and that is lunch at Cardiff.
This one from Dan Lawrence bamboozles Crane and goes straight through the right-hander to dislodge middle and off.
That signals lunch and the end of an excellent first session for the home side.
Crane picked up his maiden first-class century after being dismissed on 99 against Leicestershire last month.
The hosts reached their 350 with the final ball of the penultimate over, and with that, they have also picked up a third batting point.
Worcs 52-0 v Glos 289
The M5 derby has shifted towards Worcestershire after the first two hours of play on day two.
Gloucestershire managed to eke out 31 runs for the final three wickets, but Miles Hammond finished 139 not out.
However, Dan Lategan and Jake Libby have started well to put on 52 and the Pears know a good batting day could really drive home their advantage.
