    Sibley c Cooke b Norton 4 (Glamorgan v Surrey 31-5)

Surrey are 31-5 and Tom Norton has 4-15!

Perfect line and length once more by the right-arm seamer, angling the ball in once more, and Dom Sibley can only nick through to Chris Cooke.

Simple catch behind the stumps. Four wickets for Norton in this five-over spell and every single one of them has been an international batter.

Incredibly impressive stuff from the 18-year-old.

    Somerset 208 v Warks 177-4

Jack Leach gets a warm round of applause from the Taunton faithful as he warms up for his first bowl of the day, replacing Jake Ball.

Beau Webster gives the former England spinner a different welcome as he gets down on one knee and sweeps the second ball for six.

Revenge nearly comes quickly as Leach gets some bounce and goes perilously close to Webster's edge and off-stump.

It may well have caught the edge, but was grassed by wicketkeeper Thomas Rew.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:01 BST 20 June

    Orr c Simpson b Goodman 36 (Sussex v Hants 66-6 - lead by 98 runs)

Ali Orr's gone - that's the wicket Sussex wanted most!

Three deliveries after Orr fires Dom Goodman into the stands, Goodman gets his own back as Orr tickles behind to John Simpson.

A very valuable wicket. Around 45 minutes without one there but you're never too far away from a wicket in this match.

Hampshire's sixth-wicket stand worth 40 has been broken.

Warks need to drop Alex Davies down the order or replace him completely. He is contributing nothing to the opening partnership and we are under pressure from the start of almost every match.

    Michael O'Brien, Coventry

Red Rose county needs some drastic pruning! A lot of dead wood in this team.

    Dean Craig, Essex

Why have Surrey not managed to get the tail out after having a team 79-6? It’s happened before against Sussex.

    Crunch.

That's one way to add to the target. Ali Orr fires Dom Goodman into the stands on the legside for a brilliant maximum.

  6. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 14:59 BST 20 June

    Durham 91-3 v Northants 450

    A life for Ben Stokes.

He gets a huge top edge off Liam Guthrie but Harry Conway somehow contrives to drop the ball.

    That might be costly.

  7. Postpublished at 14:58 BST 20 June

    Glamorgan 358 v Surrey 24-4

Poor stroke by Ryan Patel, who attempts to go on the attack with a pull shot, but completely mistimes it and the ball just lands safely over Timm van der Gugten at mid-wicket.

That would have been curtains for Surrey.

  8. 50 partnership for Stokes and Rhodespublished at 14:58 BST 20 June

    Durham 90-3 v Northants 450

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

England skipper Ben Stokes has helped to rescue Durham from a terrible start which saw them 30-3 inside eight overs of their first innings.

He's put on 60 runs with Will Rhodes and has hit some lovely cover drives to the boundary. Stokes has 43. Rhodes has 16.

It's not been easy. There's plenty of low bounce and Stokes has been using his feet to good effect to negate that. So much so, Northants' keeper Ricardo Vasconcelos has grabbed a helmet and is now standing up to the stumps to keep Stokes in his crease.

Earlier Durham lost Alex Lees for six, LBW to Ben Sanderson. Ben McKinney was then caught behind off the same bowler for nine, while David Bedingham was caught behind off Harry Conway for eight.

    The follow-on target is 301.

    Leics 316-4 v Yorks 185

Spin at both ends as Dom Bess is into the attack to bowl in tandem with Dan Moriarty

Ben Cox picks up a couple to go to 20, but tidy stuff other than that from the former England bowler.

Nick Kelly then reaches his 70s with a couple off Moriarty.

Three overs to the second new ball and the Foxes lead climbs to an ominous 131.

  10. Postpublished at 14:57 BST 20 June

    Durham 90-3 v Northants 450

Luke Procter is back on the field and ready to bowl after receiving treatment for that hand injury sustained when trying to stop a Ben Stokes drive.

The injury this time is more in cricketing terms as Stokes crashes him away for another four. 0-20 from two overs for the Northants skipper.

  11. Postpublished at 14:54 BST 20 June

    Derbyshire 364 v Lancashire 161 & 14-0

That is a very nice back-foot punch from Michael Jones that brings him four off Mohammad Abbas.

Lancashire badly need their openers to set the tone for a strong response to that 203-run deficit.

  12. Postpublished at 14:52 BST 20 June

    Somerset 208 v Warks 161-4

A poorly-judged single almost gets what it deserves as Beau Webster dabs one into the offside and sets off.

Jack Leach shies at the striker's end and Ed Barnard is not even in the frame as it whizzes past the stumps.

Another tidy over from Craig Overton with Barnard still to get off the mark after 19 balls.

  14. Yorkshire toil on two-tone pitchpublished at 14:49 BST 20 June

    Leicestershire 310-4 v Yorkshire 185

    Adam Whitty
    BBC Radio Leicester commentator

This has been a match which, so far, has confounded expectations.

Any team would have batted at the toss yesterday under sunny skies, and yet Yorkshire were skittled and Leicestershire have thrived in the second innings with some grey cloud coverage.

A pitch designed to do a lot, particularly spin, hasn't done a huge amount, with Rehan Ahmed's dismissal (in which he was toop early on a cover drive and played straight to the fielder) showing the sign of where the game is going, a slow pitch.

Never mind too, that Yorkshire were seemingly the side in form and have looked anything but - Leicestershire the winless strugglers and also, look anything but.

The Foxes are building a big lead now - Nick Kelly, their New Zealand international overseas batter, will be crucial. He dropped anchor while Rehan Ahmed was motoring, he may open up now.

Yorkshire are less than five overs from a new ball they will be desperate does something, otherwise they might be out of ideas.

    Durham 80-3 v Northants 450

Ben Stokes hits his eighth boundary to go to 38 not out and up comes the 50 partnership between he and Will Rhodes.

Luke Procter is having to go off with that hand injury incurred when trying to stop a previous Stokes drive for four.

  16. Postpublished at 14:47 BST 20 June

    Somerset 208 v Warks 160-4

Craig Overton (1-29) in for his 13th over and it's another tight one until Beau Webster decides to stand and deliver.

He slaps it through the legside for his second boundary and moves to 14 as the Somerset skipper kicks out at the turf in frustration.

You'd imagine that shot will be the fuel for Overton's next over.

    Pope c Carlson b Norton 1 (Glamorgan 358 v Surrey 18-4)

They're tumbling all over the shop at Sophia Gardens. It's absolute chaos in Cardiff!

Tom Norton has 3-8 off 2.2 overs! What an incredible opening spell.

He is fired up for this. He dangles the carrot and Ollie Pope is caught at third slip on the drive.

Excellent low catch to his right by captain Kiran Carlson. What a day so far it has been for Glamorgan.

    Norton has been outstanding.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:46 BST 20 June

    Roderick b Ahmed 7 (Worcs 87-3 v Glos 289)

Daz Ahmed gets his reward for bowling a very tight spell. Into his fourth over, he has only given up two runs and when there is a little bit of width, Gareth Roderick is determined to take advantage.

But it bounces a little more than he was expecting and he diverts it back onto his stumps after a painstaking seven from 30 balls.

Worcs have slipped from 68-0 to 87-3 and the Glosters are right back in this contest.

    Durham 74-3 v Northants 450

Luke Procter tries to stop a Ben Stokes drive on his follow through.

It was absolutely drilled by Stokes for four and Procter is in trouble as he did get a touch on the way through - out comes the physio to attend to the Northants skipper.

Some tape is applied to the injury.
