    This is crazy, crazy viewing!

You would think England are going to get over the line but they lost Harry Brook and shortly after lost Will Jacks...

As a number 10, you do not want to be in during this situation!

Don't panic captain Mainwaring, don't panic!

Jamie Overton dances down to Mohammad Nawaz, slogs, misses and is stumped.

    Some late jitters.

    Even Ben Duckett looks nervous!

Is there going to be another twist in this game?

Surely not! England need five runs from 11 balls but, as we know, it's not easy out there in the middle. Only two batters have got in on this surface today.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.1 overs

    Jacks b Nawaz 28 (Eng 160-7)

Will Jacks backs away and attempts to slog the winning runs but misses.

Mohammad Nawaz picks up a late wicket. It should just be a consolation.

  8. Eng 160-6published at 18 overs

Wides aside, a pretty good over from Salman Mirza.

He almost picks up a wicket when Will Jacks slashes at his final delivery and the ball flies down to third, but the fielder cannot quite get there in time to make it a chance.

Will Jacks knows this situation just requires that they knock the ball about.

Pakistan have to change their tactic here because they do still have a glimmer of hope, if they can just get a couple of dot balls and force an error.

    Target 165

Jamie Overton the new batter but Salman Mirza seems intent to finish this with extras - two wides so far in his over.

    England one hit away now.

Harry Brook is a serious talent.

    Joe, Somerset

And THAT is why Brook is so infuriating. He can play like an absolute doughnut at times but then can get a masterful ton. Well played, Sir!

    Keith, Fair Oak

All things considered, this might end up being innings of the tournament. Superb from Brook - a real captain's innings.

    Brook b Shaheen 100 (Eng 155-6)

A brilliant innings is brought to a close the ball after the England skipper reached three figures.

Shaheen Afridi slides a slower yorker into the stumps as Brook attempts to punch to the covers.

The Pakistan batter comes down the pitch and offers a handshake to Brook.

    Respect.

Harry Brook's first century in T20 international cricket!

The skipper gets a massive hug from Will Jacks. He is taking his side not just to victory but also to the semi-finals.

Nobody has been able to play like that on this pitch, he is streets ahead of anybody else in this game.

Harry Brook becomes the second England player to score a hundred in a T20 World Cup chase, following Alex Hales’ 116 v Sri Lanka (2014).

Some knock by the England skipper who has centuries in all three formats.

England could do this at a canter now.

The ball is obviously wet. You can see the ball, it looks like a dog has had it. The dew has obviously soaked into it and it is all scruffed up as well. It isn't easy for the bowlers out there.

It would be yet another win for England in Pallekele. They love this venue.
