Lauren Filer delivers against her match-up dismissing the experienced Suzie Bates for the third time in three ODI innings.

Three innings, three dismissals, 8 runs ,19 balls, 2.7 average, 2.52 economy rate,

  2. NZ 7-1published at 2 overs

That early wickets brings in Melie Kerr - New Zealand's captain. She scored 179 not out and 105 in the recent series against South Africa.

It felt like that was coming. Filer had got Suzie Bates stuck on the crease. It was there to be hit but it was a little but too timid from Bates.

    Bates c Jones b Filer 6 (NZ 7-1)

Lauren Filer strikes early! She gets a bit of zip and bounce off the pitch and, with Suzie Bates wafting loosely outside off stump, it's enough to get her a wicket.

Bates gets a decent edge which is snaffled by Amy Jones with the gloves.

Bates swishes her bat in frustration at the shot.

Lauren Filer is going to share the new ball with Bell. She's blowing on her hands to try to warm them up.

  6. NZ 6-0published at 1 overs

The sun dips behind fluffy clouds as Lauren Bell continues through her over. That's bad news those the 3,000 or spectators in the ground because it's chilly up north today, as you'd expect at this time of the year.

In searching for something special, Bell drifts onto Suzie Bates' pads and is whipped for four.

  7. NZ 2-0published at 0.1 overs

Charlie Dean is captaining England for the first time today too. I should have mentioned that by now.

There's a bit of swing for Bell first up as Suzie Bates gets an outside edge.

Corteen-Coleman could not hide her smile while singing the anthem. A lovely moment for her.

Lauren Bell is going to take the new ball for England as you'd expect.

Tilly Corteen-Coleman is the player on everyone's lips at the start of this summer.

Having been picked in England's World Cup squad, bigger things may await this summer but today is her England debut.

She's an 18-year-old, who has already played two seasons in The Hundred for Southern Brave after making her debut as a 16-year-old.

She put in impressive performances on England's intra-squad camps this winter and coach Charlotte Edwards has decided her time is now.

You can read more about Corteen Coleman in this piece by my colleague Ffion Wynne.

We've already had the toss. England won it and are bowling first.

England, already without skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt because of injury, have mixed things up a touch with a youthful XI.

18-year-old Tilly Corteen-Coleman, one member of the World Cup squad, makes her England debut, as does batter Jodi Grenwock. Dani Gibson makes her first ODI appearance too.
