That's a brilliant shot from Ben Calitz. Just opens the blade of the bat and muscles it out to the boundary on the bounce.

  3. Ire 102-3published at 13.2 overs

100 up for Ireland courtesy of a Ben Calitz boundary.

He had both feet off the ground as he leapt into a short delivery from Harshit Rana and although he didn't get a clean connection, it had enough power on it and good placement through a wide open mid-wicket region.

The innings is taking a similar trend as Friday. Ireland will be hoping they can make it up to 180 and come up with a similar result.

  5. Ire 97-3published at 13 overs

Another boundary! This one is fortuitous, Ben Calitz edging Prince Yadav over the wicketkeeper for four.

Yadav does well to limit the damage. Four singles, a wide, and a nipping delivery which whistles past Harry Tector's outside edge off the remainder of the over.

Harry Tector didn't quite get that ball in the middle of the bat but it was a full swing which allowed him to reach the boundary for a four.

  7. Ire 88-3published at 12 overs

Boundaries are flowing now. Harry Tector goes high over mid-wicket and collects four in between two converging fielders. Axar Patel looks unimpressed with their efforts. Both slowed up.

    Another eight to Ireland's tally.

It's been a great over for Ireland. A fantastic over and exactly what they needed after the last few low-scoring overs.

  9. Ire 80-3published at 11 overs

Well, that over has got the scoreboard moving. 22 runs off the 11th.

Harry Tector is up to a run-a-ball 26, Ben Calitz has 16 (10).

  10. 6 runs

    Ire 79-3published at 10.5 overs

Suryansh Shedge is pinged for overstepping. No ball!

He follows it up with a low full toss and Harry Tector whacks him down the ground for six. That said, Arshdeep Singh, on the long-off boundary, should have done better. He sort of flapped at it.

Ben Calitz has been fast-tracked into this team as Ireland have a real dearth of left-handers and he showed his power there.

  12. 6 runs

    Ire 71-3published at 10.4 overs

Back-to-back boundaries! Ben Calitz is enjoying the short boundary and clears the fielder on the rope. A few people scattered from a nearby marquee when they saw his pull coming their way.

  13. Ire 65-3published at 10.3 overs

Ireland's first boundary for more than five overs! Ben Calitz pulls Suryansh Shedge for four. The ball whistled across the outfield.

The Irish team will be thinking what is a decent score at this stage? They're maybe thinking 140-150 may be the total. The Indian bowling unit are bowling better than Friday.

Ben Calitz's hands haven't been great since coming in. He is struggling with the movement of the ball.

  16. Ire 58-3published at 10 overs

    H Tector 16 (22), Calitz 5 (7)

Axar Patel rattles through an over of left-arm spin. His fourth delivery of the match fizzes over Ben Calitz's stumps. Close, very close.

At the halfway mark, Ireland are looking a little pedestrian.

Harry Tector has been struggling a bit today. He was given a let-off when Yadav missed the stumps but he is struggling for any sort of rhythm.

  18. Ire 53-3published at 9 overs

Dot, single, dot, single, dot, single - how pleasing.

India are tightening the screws a little here. Ireland haven't scored a boundary since the final over of the powerplay.

Lorcan Tucker was searching for that delivery. It was a back of the length ball. Ireland now in a spot of bother.

  20. Ire 50-3published at 8 overs

50 up for Ireland with a single off the final ball of the over but that was an excellent burst from Prince Yadav. He's all over Ireland's batters.

Suryansh Shedge, on his international debut, will bowl the next over.
