It's swing mode now for Ireland. George Dockrell wasn't fully in control of that shot and was easily caught out in the deep by Patel.

Good pace and and good length on that ball from Arshdeep Singh. Dockrell got away with one the ball before but not this time.

    Dockrell c Patel b Arshdeep 19 (Ire 144-6)

George Dockrell falls for 19 (14), picking out Axar Patel at deep point. The fielder was all alone out there - anywhere else would've been safe.

A second wicket for Arshdeep Singh.

  4. Ire 142-5published at 18 overs

Two overs to go. Ireland will be eyeing 170. 160 as a minimum.

  5. 6 runs

Oh ho! Welcome back to the action! George Dockrell gallops down and whacks Axar Patel for six.

That might be the briefest rain delay I've experienced in cricket. The wind has blown the bad weather through mercifully quickly.

Axar Patel is bowling to George Dockrell.

The rain briefly has stopped play as a heavy shower, which had been threatening to appear for a while, falls on Stormont.

Outside the boundary, 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is watching on with a towel over his head to take cover from the rain.

    Welcome to Belfast, kid.

*Apologies for the photo that was apparently taken on a potato.

    Get Involved

It is so exciting seeing Ireland playing India. The sport does not get the support or recognition it deserves here but with the women also doing well, let's hope it will create more interest, especially at school level.

A brilliant shot from George Dockrell. George stayed nice and low and hammered the ball down the ground. A nice four to finish that over.

  11. Ire 131-5published at 17 overs

Shivam Dube shouts "yes, yes?" at umpire Johnny Kennedy, pleading for an lbw against Harry Tector. Kennedy isn't interested. It was comfortably missing his leg stump.

Tector and George Dockrell run hard to snatch a couple of twos. Dockrell finishes the over with a four down the ground.

    13 from it.

  12. Ire 122-5published at 16.1 overs

Harry Tector moves into the 40s, helping Shivam Dube around the corner for four over fine leg.

A very productive over from Shivam Dube. A perfect ball to take Gareth Delany's bails off.

It could be a real momentum swing.

India are right on top now. That's how quickly the game can change. You'll never master cricket. If you have a good day, stay calm. That wicket will be disappointing for Ireland. They face that type of bowling very often.

  16. Ire 114-5published at 15 overs

Alas, no hat-trick for Shivam Dube, It's aerial from George Dockrell but comfortably short of the fielder at deep point.

Two huge wickets in that over. Ben Calitz was scoring freely and Gareth Delany was a thorn in India's side on Friday, scoring 49 off 32. Not today!

    Five overs to go.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.5 overs

    Delany b Dube 0 (Ire 113-5)

Two in two for Shivam Dube. I'd like to offer my apologies to Shreyas Iyer for questioning his bowling change (@14:40).

Straight through Gareth Delany and into the top of middle stump.

Dube is on a hat-trick, bowling to George Dockrell.

Ben Calitz will be disappointed. He is cursing himself as he walks off. It was in the slot and was there to be punished.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.4 overs

    Calitz c Tilak b Dube 37 (Ire 113-4)

A potentially huge breakthrough for India. Ben Calitz slices one straight down the throat of Tilak Varma at deep point.

A frustrated Calitz is out for 37 (23).

  20. 6 runs

    Ire 111-3published at 14.1 overs

Well, erm, not the impact Shreyas Iyer would have wanted from that bowling change.

It's too full from Shivam Dube and Ben Calitz bludgeons him over long-off for six.
