Harry Tector has got a decent economy rate in T20 cricket. He will be happy enough if he only goes for seven or eight an over. That was a watchful over from India.

    Target 155

Tilak Varma and Axar Patel are keeping the scoreboard ticking over for India, running six across the over. A wide is an added bonus.

There's been lots of talk about hydration breaks changing momentum at the World Cup.

Let's see if the ultimate hydration break (commonly known as the rain) changes things here.

Righto, the players are back out. Once more with feeling.

Harry Tector will bowl the ninth over with Axar Patel on strike.

In case you missed it, Ireland's men aren't the only team in green who have made history over the past few days.

On Saturday, Ireland earned their first victory at a Women's T20 World Cup, beating West Indies by six wickets in Bristol.

Excellent news, Andy. While we wait, let's recap the first innings, which was all about Harry Tector and Ben Calitz.

    Tector top-scored with 53 (47) on his 100th T20I cap while Calitz smacked 37 off 23.

Their 65-run fourth-wicket stand, coming off 44 balls, injected some energy into Ireland's innings after they had laboured to 48-3 inside eight overs.

Ireland set India a target of 155 after posting 154-8, with Prince Yadav taking 3-22.

We've just been told there will be a pitch inspection in about 16:25 BST.

The rain has passed through quickly and work is underway to get the pitch back into shape again.

The covers coming off brought the loudest cheer from the Indian supporters this afternoon. They haven't had a lot to celebrate so far.

Hero is indeed the word to describe Jai Moondra.

Fresh from taking 2-25 on debut, he struck twice in the opening over to remove Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma for golden ducks.

And India found themselves 19-3 when he got Shreyas Iyer to chop onto his stumps in the third over.

A direct hit from Ross Adair saw off Ishan Kishan as Ireland finished the powerplay with four wickets and although Axar Patel and Tilak Varma have put on 19 (19) for the fifth wicket, the hosts remain on top.

The rain is back and it's proper rain this time.

It's coming just as the partnership of Axar Patel and Tilak Varma looks to bring some stability to the world champions, who have been rocked by the new hero of Irish cricket, Jai Moondra.

This could be a decent delay.

Rain stops play - Ind 54-4published at 8 overs

Another rain shower is sweeping through Stormont. The players are rushing off and the covers are being rushed on.

India will welcome the opportunity to regroup.

They need 101 runs from 72 balls with six wickets in hand.

  14. Ind 54-4published at 8 overs

    Target 155

Excellent fielding from Liam McCarthy, diving to his left in the covers to save three off the penultimate ball of Matt Hollard's second over.

Six from it. India are having to run hard for every run.

At this stage Ireland are on course for a series win. This game has a similar feel to the victory on Friday. The Indian fans are concerned. The Indian batsmen at this stage are trying to rebuild and form a partnership.

This is an extremely Irish summer's day! It will certainly suit the hosts a lot more.

  17. Ind 48-4published at 7 overs

    Target 155

Harry Tector enters the attack and concedes seven runs.

It's a much-needed over of calm for India, who start with a comfortable two off a Tilak Varma sweep and follow it up with five singles.

  18. Ind 41-4published at 6 overs

    Target 155

Liam McCarthy closes out the powerplay with a tidy over, conceding just two singles.

It's not quite panic stations for India - the required rate has only just crept above eight an over, with 114 runs needed from 84 balls - but they do need a little Ben Calitz-esque moment to ease a bit of the pressure.

Tilak Varma has 14 (12), Axar Patel has 1 (4).

  20. Not out - Ind 39-4published at 5 overs

    Target 155

It's a poor review. Nowhere near the stumps. The ball ran away for four leg-byes, so that's something positive for India.

Ireland won't mind too much. They've got India four down inside the powerplay.
