At this stage Ireland are on course for a series win. This game has a similar feel to the victory on Friday. The Indian fans are concerned. The Indian batsmen at this stage are trying to rebuild and form a partnership.

This is an extremely Irish summer's day! It will certainly suit the hosts a lot more.

  3. Ind 48-4published at 7 overs

    Target 155

Harry Tector enters the attack and concedes seven runs.

It's a much-needed over of calm for India, who start with a comfortable two off a Tilak Varma sweep and follow it up with five singles.

  4. Ind 41-4published at 6 overs

    Target 155

Liam McCarthy closes out the powerplay with a tidy over, conceding just two singles.

It's not quite panic stations for India - the required rate has only just crept above eight an over, with 114 runs needed from 84 balls - but they do need a little Ben Calitz-esque moment to ease a bit of the pressure.

Tilak Varma has 14 (12), Axar Patel has 1 (4).

  6. Not out - Ind 39-4published at 5 overs

    Target 155

It's a poor review. Nowhere near the stumps. The ball ran away for four leg-byes, so that's something positive for India.

Ireland won't mind too much. They've got India four down inside the powerplay.

  7. Ireland reviewpublished at 5 overs

Enthusiastic appeal for lbw against Tilak Varma from Jai Moondra. He has a brief conversation with Lorcan Tucker and the skipper sends it upstairs.

It's not out on the field and it looked to be drifting down leg to me.

It's absolute chaos out here! Incredible fielding from Ross Adair but the run was never on, particularly with the left-handed throw of Adair.

Still a huge credit to Ireland.

That was unbelievable fielding from Ross Adair. A stunning run out. The fielding from Ireland today and Friday has been superb. They all look athletic and they are in a brilliant position.

Kishan run out (Adair) 12 (Ind 35-4)

Ishan Kishan, at the non-striker's end, wanted a single. Tilak Varma, playing to backward point, did not but didn't give the signal until Kishan was halfway down.

Ross Adair picked it up cleanly and nailed the direct hit.

Kishan is out for 12 (11). India are four down.

  11. Ind 33-3published at 4.2 overs

Lorcan Tucker does indeed stick with Jai Moondra but he is dispatched for back-to-back fours by Tilak Varma.

He got his line wrong on the first delivery. The second was simply good batting, with Tilak placing it through mid-on.

  12. Ind 25-3published at 4 overs

    Target 155

Tight from Matt Hollard. Four singles.

Surely you have to give Jai Moondra another over? Can he add to his three wickets?

Oh, Ireland are greedy! There are shouts of "catch it" as Tilak Varma drives through point.

Jai Moondra has 3-9 from two overs.

More brilliant bowling from Jai Moondra! Shreyas Iyer looks stunned as he looks at his stumps behind him but the Ireland bowler forces him to drag on.

What a start to the international game for Moondra and India are in a bad place here.

Another fabulous piece of bowling from Jai Moondra. An inside edge and it cannons onto the stumps. India in all sorts of trouble now!

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 2.4 overs

    Iyer b Moondra 10 (Ind 19-3)

Shreyas Iyer drags onto his stumps. Jai Moondra and Ireland have a third wicket inside three overs!

The previous ball, Iyer had slapped Moondra disdainfully to the rope for four. Great response from the Ireland pacer.

The India captain can't believe it.

  18. Ind 13-2published at 2 overs

    Target 155

A boundary apiece for Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan to steady India's nerves.

  19. Ind 6-2published at 1.2 overs

India captain Shreyas Iyer is looking unruffled by the early wickets, driving Matthew Humphreys through the covers for four to get his innings under way.

  20. Ind 1-2published at 1 over

    Target 155

I'm not sure Ireland could have asked for a better opening over.

No pressure, Matthew Humphreys. Jai Moondra is a tough act to follow.
