Lancashire v Worcestershire 42-0
Four leg byes down to long leg mean Worcestershire move past 40 at the end of the tenth over.
A good start for the Pears in the Southport sunshine.
Yorkshire's Joe Root and Harry Brook out for 44 and seven against Surrey
James Rew marks his call-up to the England Test squad with 86 for Somerset against Sussex
Ben Kellaway scores 139 for Glamorgan against Warwickshire
Teenager Ben Dawkins hits unbeaten 181 in Kent's game with Durham
Derbyshire's Ben Aitchison takes 5-47 as Middlesex are all out for 177 at Lord's
Ben Sanderson claims 5-47 as Northants dismiss Gloucestershire for 154

Lancashire v Worcestershire 42-0

Unbelievable Sam Cook hasn't been given another go for England
Daryl, Essex
The comments from Key regarding Sam Cook are incredibly frustrating. Saying he is back close to his best and it is 'one of those' and 'keep doing what he is doing'. He has been doing that for a decade. Essex's gain I guess.
Ed, London
Oh dear, the Leicestershire team has taken up a technique that starts with B and ends with azball!
Josh, London
Somerset 27-1 v Sussex
Frustration for Fynn Hudson-Prentice, who takes the edge of Jordan Hermann's bat.
It's a thick edge though, played with soft hands to guide the ball to deep third for four runs.
Make the most of the sunshine. We may see rather less of it over the weekend if the forecast is correct.
Tom Haines replaces Robinson at the other end and the other Tom (Lammonby) is off the mark with a flowing drive through cover for four.
Hampshire 22-1 v Notts
Nick Gubbins has just helped himself to four more runs off the bowling of Josh Tongue, who is into his fourth over of the morning.
The England quick almost strangles opener Gubbins down the legs a couple of deliveries later, before Tongue's penultimate delivery of the over swings wildly past batter and wicket-keeper for four byes.
It is a green-looking top in Southampton, in what appear to be bowler-friendly conditions.
Essex v Leics 41-1
Well, that wasn't in the script as far as Essex are concerned.
Sam Cook is too straight and Sol Budinger flicks it away, high and handsome, over mid-wicket for six.
Budinger is really 'seeing it well' at the start of his innings.
Gloucs 10-3 v Northants
An LBW shout for Ben Sanderson as James Bracey plays across his stumps, but that ball was doing a bit too much.
Bracey is carefully forward to and gets a single fifth ball, pushing into cover, running hard.
Glamorgan 10-2 v Warwickshire
Glamorgan are up and running at Edgbaston.
Ben Kellaway edges Olly Hannon-Dalby past the slip cordon and away to the third man boundary. He then plays a more convincing shot when clipping the final delivery of the over between mid-wicket and mid-on for three runs.
Ethan Bamber then has a strong appeal for LBW dismissed. It is probably the right call looking at replays.
The track here is very close to the Eric Hollies boundary, so there will be plenty of runs into the off-side from the Pavilion End if Glamorgan batters can exploit the gaps in the field.
Lancashire v Worcestershire 30-0
Worcestershire have had a good opening half hour in Southport.
They are going at just under four an over currently after losing the toss and Jake Libby (17*) and Dan Lategan (13*) have started confidently with some nice, measured shots into the off side
Thomas LBW b Robinson 7 (Somerset 19-1 v Sussex)
Jordan Hermann looks more comfortable facing Fynn Hudson-prentice, who drifts one into the pads.
Easy deflection behind square for four.
But Josh Thomas has gone!
Superb ball from Ollie Robinson. Length ball, nipping in off the seam and beating the forward defensive.
That looked to be hitting middle.
Tom Lammonby is in next.
Essex v Leics 32-1
Short by Jamie Porter and Sol Budinger cracks it away square for four. When he is in form, the Leicestershire batsman is very pleasing on the eye.
Hammond c McManus b Sanderson 2
And another! Gloucestershire reeling on 7-3.
A leg side ball from Ben Sanderson and Miles Hammond has flicked it to keeper Lewis McManus.
Brace yourself, James Bracey. He's in next.
Kent 28-0 v Durham
That is exactly the sort of thing Zak Crawley needs to cut out of his game if he wants to regain his England place.
He throws the lot at a wideish ball from Matthew Potts without moving his feet and is fortunate indeed to see it fly away to the rope at third man as he moves on to 16 not out.
Albert LBW b O'Neill 5 (Hampshire 14-1 v Notts)
Breakthrough for Notts! Australian quick Fergus O'Neill traps Toby Albert in front.
The appeal goes up and the umpire obliges. It looked good on the replays.
Luxton c Sibley b Fisher 8 (Yorks 23-1 v Surrey)
Clipped straight to short mid-wicket!
A loose shot from Will Luxton, off his pads, and Dom Sibley does well to cling on.
First wicket of the day goes down at Headingley.
Yorkshire 23-0 v Surrey
Three boundaries in the over from Adam Lyth - really good intelligent cricket, playing the ball as late as he can, dissecting two fielders in the off side.
Somerset 11-0 v Sussex
Close! Ollie Robinson gets a ball to nip on on full length to strike Jordan Hermann on the pad... Not out.
Just going down leg perhaps?
Hermann plays a bit around his pad to block out the over.
The fifth ball is marginally leg side and pushed away for one.
Josh Thomas defends from the crease and misses to see out the over. Good bowling.
Essex v Leics 26-1
That sounded nice.
Jamie Porter overpitches with the final ball of the fifth over at Chelmsford and Sol Budinger times it perfectly, sending it racing away to mid-off for four.
Zain-ul-Hassan 0 c Davies b Bamber (Glamorgan 0-2 v Warwickshire)
Another wicket for Warwickshire, and this time Ethan Bamber removes Zain-ul-Hassan for a duck.
Excellent delivery, just holds its line but proves too good and Davies behind the stumps takes another routine catch.
Glamorgan are two down and are yet to get off the mark this morning.
Kent 22-0 v Durham
Wrong line by Matthew Potts, who strays onto Zak Crawley's pads and is whipped away for four easy runs.
Positive start by the England discard.
Yorkshire 15-0 v Surrey
Yorkshire have commenced steadily with the highlight so far being a lovely cover drive from Will Luxton.
Adam Lyth then punches one straight down the ground for four off Dan Worrall's first ball of his third over.
