Somerset 50-2 v Sussex
James Rew is off the mark first ball with a neat glance for four to fine leg off Haines.
That's the innings 50 in the 14th over.
Glamorgan 32-2 v Warwickshire
Ethan Bamber is bowling some really good stuff this morning. He has bowled seven overs this morning and his figures currently read 1/12.
He has just had an appeal for LBW ignored and then followed it up with a beauty which just beats the edge of Kiran Carlson's outside edge.
Looks like no batting bonus points for Gloucestershire again.
Ray, Tytherington
Very green looking wicket here at Chelmsford. With one of the most potent attacks in the Championship I thought we’d run through winless Leicestershire. But 50 up in the 11th over and only one wicket down. Worrying.
David, Chelmsford
There has been a lot of hype around James Rew getting called for England. My fear is he will just be another James Bracey and fizzle out after a brutal couple of days. Career peaking too soon.
Fred, Yorkshire
Let's see how he gets on against Ollie Robinson today, Fred.
Lehmann LBW b O'Neill 4 (Hampshire 33-3)
Fergus O'Neill has his third in Southampton!
Jake Lehmann becomes the latest victim when trapped in front. It looked plum in real time and replays would support that.
Notts and O'Neill are taking advantage of the conditions here. Hampshire's recent woes, meanwhile, are not letting up just yet.
Revis b Clark 9 (Yorkshire 38-2 v Surrey)
Bad misjudgement from Matt Revis and Yorkshire lose their second wicket as Joe Root walks to the crease.
Revis leaves one from Jordan Clark which nips back and clips the top of off as he was starting to settle.
Good bowling from right-arm seamer Clark. Surrey will be happy with their opening hour's play.
Hermann LBW b Haines 25 (Somerset 46-2 v Sussex)
Jordan Hermann is right back in the crease, missing with an attempted pull shot off Tom Haines and is struck on the thigh pad...
Too high? The umpire thinks not and Sussex have their second wicket.
James Rew is in at four for Somerset - and remember, he is also in the England squad for the New Zealand Test series.
A chance for a very fine player to shine.
Somerset 46-1 v Sussex
The sun is glinting off the Quantocks here.
Tom Lammonby edges Henry Crocombe very close to second slip but the ball bounces just in front and runs away for four.
Four more safely tucked away to backward square leg.
Yorkshire 37-1 v Surrey
A beautiful drive through extra cover from Matt Revis rewards him with his first boundary of the innings off his 21st delivery.
Slightly too much width offered from Surrey's Sean Abbott.
Kent v Durham 43-0
We now have England captain Ben Stokes in the attack for Durham as first change, having opening the bowling last week.
A couple of good overs so far, just four runs conceded.
Glamorgan 27-2 v Warwickshire
Ben Kellaway and Kiran Carlson are very slowly trying to rebuild the early stages of this Glamorgan innings following the loss of both openers this morning.
The new ball has been nipping around for Olly Hannon-Dalby and Ethan Bamber, who have a wicket apiece, but slowly Glammy's top order appear to be getting to grips with the conditions.
There are around 1,000 school-children in attendance today, too. They are enthusiastically trying to generate a T20-esque atmosphere for the players.
Yorkshire 31-1 v Surrey
Surrey posing a real threat with some good consistent bowling to slow down Yorkshire's run rate after an entertaining start from the hosts.
A big task for Matt Revis (3*) who has come in at three with Joe Root and Harry Brook awaiting in the shed with their pads on.
Gloucs 19-4 v Northants
A bit of respite for the hosts after a truly dreadful start this morning.
The overheads had looked gloomy from the outset and now the rain has broken through.
As you were on this one.
Essex v Leics 66-1
The wicket of Rishi Patel apart, it looks like the Essex seamers had a bit too much breakfast this morning - they are really labouring.
Sam Cook drops short twice at the start of a new over and Jake Weatherald pulls both balls for four.
He overcompensates with the next and the left-hander punches it down the ground through mid-on for another boundary.
Somerset 38-1 v Sussex
Change of bowling at the River End - with Henry Crocombe replacing Fynn Hudson-Prentice.
Hermann picks up a single third ball with a push into the off side.
Jordan Hermann plays the medium pace of Tom Haines defensively into the off side.
A few early alarm bells for the South African left-hander when Robinson was bowling but he's looked compact and unruffled since that opening spell.
Shot! Width and lofted powerfully to long off by Hermann for four!
Lancs v Worcs 50-0
Back-to-back boundaries for Dan Lategan (28*) means Worcestershire move onto 50 without loss inside the 11th over.
The second is a lovely straight drive down the ground. Runs coming freely so far this morning for the visitors.
A beauty from Ben Sanderson, drawing James Bracey forward to defend.
Slightly loose shot, and a thin edge taken low by the Northants keeper and the hosts are in disarray.
Here comes Tommy Boorman...
Essex v Leics 53-1
Shane Snater is on as first change after Jamie Porter's four overs with the new ball cost him 21 runs.
The runs continue to flow as he overpitches and Australian Jake Weatherald drives for four.
Two balls, Snater does it again, this time on leg stump, and Weatherald finds the mid-wicket boundary to bring up Leicestershire's 50.
Middleton c Verreynne b O'Neill 0 (Hampshire 22-2 v Notts)
Another for Notts - and another for O'Neill! He tempts Fletcha Middleton into pushing at one just outside of off-stump. There is not loads of carry and keeper Kyle Verreynne has to adjust quickly to take a smart, low catch.
Middx 26-0 v Derbys
Into the ninth over at Lord's and no joy yet for Derbyshire.
Ben Aitchison starts his latest over with a long half-volley and Sam Robson steers it through the covers for four and is 23 not out.
