Glamorgan would have taken this 35 minutes after the restart following the lunch break.

They've added 24 runs and not lost a wicket.

The Welsh side lost three wickets for 13 runs to start the day - and five for 70 in total before lunch.

    Derbys 76-4 – Target 138

Luke Wells has got hands to a hard pull from Martin Andersson at midwicket but it has gone straight through the fingers.

    Thud.

That's the sound of the ball smashing into the advertising hoardings at fine leg as Timm van der Gugten hooks a short one from Josh Tongue and it flies away for four.

It's a very cricket sound that, isn't it?

Going along nicely is van der Gugten - 25 from 42 balls now.

Ooh, lovely delivery from Josh Tongue.

Fast, on a length and forces Timm van der Gugten to play at it but it whizzes just past the outside edge.

Van der Gugten picks up a couple into the legside from the next delivery.

Lovely weather at Trent Bridge this afternoon. At least mother nature is holding up her end of the deal as we hope for another result in Division One.

More like it for Glamorgan. Probably the first loose ball of this afternoon session and Timm van der Gugten puts it away.

It's short and wide of off stump from Dillon Pennington and it's slapped to the point boundary by the Dutchman.

    Notts v Glamorgan 211-7 - target 478

Glamorgan probably aren't bothered about runs this afternoon given their predicament - and probably a good job too because they're already quite bogged down since lunch.

Notts are just trying to build up the pressure.

Mason Crane picks up a leg bye off his thigh pad down to fine leg from Dillon Pennington but it's a struggle for the Welsh side.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:59 BST 13 April

    Hill lbw b Abbott 52 (Yorks 175-8 – Target 426)

George Hill is less than impressed at that but he is gone, Yorks slump a little lower, and Kyle Abbott has 10 wickets in the match.

The Yorks all rounder had taken a bit of step forward but unless he got a bit of bat on that it looks out.

Whatever, it is out so Hill is forced to trudge his way slowly from the middle and Logan van Beek is the new man at the crease.

Yorks are slipping to defeat here.

Brett Hutton finds Timm van der Gugten's outside edge but it drops just short of Ben Duckett at second slip.

Notts are certainly probing for another wicket that would take them a step closer to victory.

Three more needed. Plenty of time to get them but the longer it drags on...

And so ends another maiden for the defending champions.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:57 BST 13 April

    Came c Hurst b Bailey 30 (Derbys 73-4 – Target 138)

Tom Bailey has the Derbys skipper.

Harry Came is a little bit late jabbing his bat down defensively on a rapid fifth-stumper from the Lancs seamer and Matty Hurst takes the chance behind.

Lancs have hope again but need the wickets to keep dropping.

Mason Crane has a dabble at one outside off stump from Dillon Pennington but avoids getting a nick on it, more by luck than judgement.

Crane blocks the final ball of the over and that's a maiden for Pennington.

Notts will want this wrapped up sooner rather than later.

What a gorgeous shot from Jamie Smith!

Back of a length from Josh Hull, coming round the wicket and Smith is up on his toes, guiding behind square on the offside for four, using all the pace off the ball.

He now has 62. What are the odds this will be a third straight hundred?

    Lancs 351 & 160 v Derbys 374 & 61-3 – Target 138

Derbys are off to a flier with Paul Coughlin's first over after lunch going for nine.

Now Harry Came picking a leg side delivery from Tom Bailey for four at midwicket.

Bailey drifts leg side against and that is another. Eight off that one, 69-3 and Derbys are halfway there.

    Notts v Glamorgan 209-7 - target 478

The Notts field goes up in unison for an appeal, convinced that Mason Crane has nicked off from Brett Hutton.

Wicket-keeper Kyle Verreynne likes it a lot... the umpire does not.

Dillon Pennington's first over after lunch is neat and tidy to Timm van der Gugten until the final delivery.

Five dots and then a four as the Dutch international flicks off his hip to the square leg boundary.

Glamorgan need a big innings from both their number eight and nine here.

    Yorks 177 & 164-7 (Target 426) v Hants 251 & 351-5d

Kyle Abbott has kickstarted the afternoon session with George Hill, who promptly cuts the second ball for four.

Liam Dawson is on at the other end and Hill dances down the pitch to put him over the long on rope for six second ball.

  19. dropped catch

    Surrey 520 & 105-2 v Leics 691 - Surrey trail by 66 runs

Ajaz Patel comes back to finish his over, which before lunch was four wides and a wicket.

And he almost has another as Ollie Pope, fresh to the crease, whips it around the corner to leg slip and Stephen Eskinazi gets a hand to it but cannot hold on.
