  1. 50 runs

50 for Tom Clarkpublished at 12:41 BST 27 April

    Yorkshire 511 v Sussex 502 & 132-3 – Sussex lead by 123 runs

Tom Clark had to bide his time early on in this innings and he is reaping the rewards of staying in now.

A flurry of fours takes him to a half-century.

He does have a century to his name this season, which came against Leicestershire.

  2. Postpublished at 12:39 BST 27 April

    Notts 279 & 398-4 v Warwicks 459

Warwickshire skipper Ed Barnard guilty of now bowling to the field he has set himself as Joe Clarke cracks it away through the covers off the back foot for four. He is now 46 not out.

  3. 6 runs

for David Bedinghampublished at 12:38 BST 27 April

    Durham 72-2 – require 264 to win

Better from a Durham point of view as Emilio Gay hits consecutive fours.

So that's 18 from the past two overs after what was a very slow start.

And as I'm typing David Bedingham hits the first six of the day!

He's happy to punish the odd ball when it's there to be hit.

  4. 50 up for Durhampublished at 12:34 BST 27 April

    Durham 58-2 – require 278 to win

They've had to work hard for it but Durham pass 50 after 90 minutes of play.

That over was a little expensive from George Balderson with new batter David Bedingham taking 10 from it.

Bedingham and Gay seem more willing to play shots than the Durham opening pair did.

  5. Leicestershire declarepublished at 12:34 BST 27 April

    Glamorgan 440 v Leics 586-7 dec

    Interesting.

Captain Ian Holland calls his batters in with Leicestershire 146 ahead.

Based on what we've seen in this match so far, it's going to require an inspired effort from his bowlers if they are to force a win.

One or two signs of uneven bounce this morning as the visitors added 85 to their overnight 500-5 in 25 overs for the loss of Jonny Tattersall, who made 112, and Ben Green.

    Montgomery lbw v Van Buuren 74 (Derbys 281 & 152-7 v Glos 498)

Gloucestershire are closing in on that first win...

Matthew Montgomery has been the main line of resistance for Derbyshire, but he doesn't quite get forward enough to Graeme van Buuren and the leg before appeal is upheld.

Zak Chappell comes in with his side still 52 behind - and only the modest batting talents of Shoaib Bashir and Muhammad Abbas to follow him.

  7. 'Surrey will be kicking themselves'published at 12:32 BST 27 April

    Surrey 472 v Essex 409 & 78-1

    Nick Gledhill
    BBC Essex

There's a variable bounce from the Vauxhall end that is causing all sorts of problems.

It's been a great watch this morning, Surrey will be kicking themselves that Essex are not three down.

  8. Postpublished at 12:31 BST 27 April

    Glamorgan 440 v Leics 582-7

Ajaz Patel flicks a leg-stump full toss from Mason Crane away for four.

Crane strikes him on the pad later in the over but his appeal is turned down.

  9. Postpublished at 12:30 BST 27 April

    Yorkshire 511 v Sussex 502 & 113-3 – Sussex lead by 104 runs

Sussex now lead by more than 100 runs thanks to a fruitful partnership of 69 off 88 balls between James Coles and Tom Clark.

Coles is going at more than a run a ball on 43 while Clark has also upped his personal run rate.

They lost nightwatchman Jack Carson earlier but since then they have looked more comfortable and are building that lead.

  10. 100 partnership for Nottspublished at 12:28 BST 27 April

    Notts 279 & 393-4 v Warwicks 459

A thick edge between second slip and gully brings Kyle Verreynne off Beau Webster and brings up a century stand with Joe Clarke.

That's a better shot by the South African and he drives to the cover boundary.

"This is just the partnership Notts needed to stabilise their innings," says BBC WM's Richard Wilford.

  11. Essex into the leadpublished at 12:27 BST 27 April

    Surrey 472 v Essex 409 & 70-1

Surrey's bowlers have been trying to tempt Tom Westley to drive off his pads - and succeeding as well, because the Essex skipper has targeted that leg side several times.

One flew close to Gus Atkinson's left hand, but he was unable to cling on and Westley's most recent effort also eludes the fielders, rolling to the fence to take Essex out of the red.

They lead by seven runs, with nine wickets intact.

  12. Lancashire make breakthroughpublished at 12:27 BST 27 April

    Durham 48-2 - require 288 to win

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

It's been a really interesting first hour and 20 minutes and the game remains evenly poised.

Yesterday, Lancashire lost six wickets fairly cheaply while the lights were on.

Durham have lost two so far today, in similar conditions. Alex Lees decided to leave a ball from Mitch Stanley, at the end of his first over, but it wasn't the best decision.

The ball clipped the bail out of its mooring as it passed over off-stump and he departed on 10, with Durham 28-1. Ben McKinney then played around a ball from George Balderson and was bowled on 19.

Lancashire have to keep things tight with the ball and be on their toes in the field. Durham will no doubt keep re-assessing their position as the day goes on. But 336 in a day here is gettable. Warwickshire chased 344 last year.

  13. Postpublished at 12:24 BST 27 April

    Glamorgan 440 v Leics 572-7

Time for Mason Crane to have a bowl and fellow spinner Ajaz Patel smacks it back over his head for four runs.

Ben Cox sweeps fine later in the over and that's four more. Cox keeps the strike with a single to wide mid-off and the lead is now 132.

WICKETpublished at 12:23 BST 27 April

    McKinney b Balderson 19 (Durham 46-2 – require 290 to win)

Both Durham openers are gone - and they've both been clean bowled.

Ben McKinney looks to block but George Balderson's delivery but it scoots on through straight as an arrow and clatters the stumps.

Two down for Lancashire with Durham still a long way from that target.

An important 35 minutes or so until lunch now.

  15. Postpublished at 12:21 BST 27 April

    Notts 279 & 382-4 v Warwicks 459

"Very watchful innings this from Joe Clarke" agree the BBC commentary team at Trent Bridge - Clarke has 42 from 110 balls.

Kyle Verreynne drives Ed Barnard at the start of a new over but a good save by Zen Malik keeps him to two.

The Notts lead is now beyond 200 - 204 to be exact.

  16. Postpublished at 12:19 BST 27 April

    Surrey 472 v Essex 409 & 51-1

This Essex pair are living a little dangerously.

Jordan Clark beat the outside edge of Dean Elgar, then produced a delivery that spat off the surface and reared off an edge towards Rory Burns at slip - but just short.

Matt Fisher has started well at the other end and had a strong lbw shout against Tom Westley turned down.

A couple of quick wickets would certainly change the complexion of this contest.

  17. Postpublished at 12:11 BST 27 April

    Glamorgan 440 v Leics 558-7

Kiran Carlson floats one up outside off stump and Ben Cox thumps it over mid-off for four. A sweep follows, but there's a man down there and it's only a couple.

  18. 50 runs

    Notts 279 & 379-4 v Warwicks 459

    Kyle VerreynneImage source, Shutterstock

'Ooh, what a lucky man he was' - as Greg Lake once sang.

Kyle Verreynne tries to cut a ball from Jordan Thompson and inside edges past the stumps for four, taking him to 50 from 72 balls.

He and Joe Clarke have added 69 to the Notts total so far this morning.

  19. 'Durham going along nicely'published at 12:10 BST 27 April

    Durham 36-1 – require 300 to win

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

If Durham can get to tea with a decent number of wickets in hand then that will be a tremendous opportunity.

They're going along nicely so far this morning.

  20. Postpublished at 12:07 BST 27 April

    Durham 36-1 – require 300 to win

That's the best shot of the morning from new batter Emilio Gay.

A lovely stroke through the covers and he has hit two boundaries since coming in to go to eight from four balls.

Durham's total to chase is now exactly 300.
