  1. Short on entertainment at Sophia Gardenspublished at 16:37 BST 27 April

    Glamorgan 440 & 122-2 v Leics 586-7 dec

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Glamorgan will comfortably hold out for a draw on a placid pitch in Cardiff despite Leicestershire taking a first-innings lead of 146 in the battle of the promoted sides.

That left the visitors a potential 69 overs to bowl Glamorgan out, but the hosts are having little difficulty in batting out time, now against occasional bowling.

England Lions opener Asa Tribe has led the resistance with a half-century, while Kiran Carlson has survived a painful blow in the ribs from Josh Hull.

But the hybrid surface has not proved conducive to fast scoring for most batters in the match, with a lack of entertainment on offer for long periods

This might be a first for a round of matches played in largely beautiful weather.

That might be that for this contest.

I have to say that this result has been on the cards for Lancs. They have played well most of the games this season, but never really dominated properly. Too many periods where they haven't turned the screw to close games out.

False shot by Asa Tribe who edges a good one from Ian Holland, but there are no slips and it runs down to the boundary, taking him to 61 not out.

There's the three figures for Dean Elgar as he pats a leg-side single off Dan Lawrence, which earns him a ripple of applause.

Elgar gets there from 228 balls and it's the 55th ton of his glittering first-class career, his first of this county season.

    A richly deserved standing ovation.

A fabulous knock from Bedingham, they've been fantastic for Durham today.

100 for David Bedinghampublished at 16:21 BST 27 April

    Durham 267-2 – require 69 to win

Back-to-back centuries for David Bedingham who struck 118 last week and follows it up with another fine knock today.

He and Emilio Gay (119*) have taken Durham from 46-2 to 267-2.

    A match-winning partnership.

  10. 50 runs

for Asa Tribepublished at 16:20 BST 27 April

    Glamorgan 440 & 106-2 v Leics 586-7 dec

Asa Tribe turns a poor ball from Rishi Patel round the corner for a single and brings up his 50 off 99 balls.

It's his second in successive innings, having made 85 in the second innings against Notts in their previous game.

The Josh Hull-Kiran Carlson battle continues.

Carlson pulls at another short one and the ball runs down to third man for a single off the toe end.

  13. Postpublished at 16:15 BST 27 April

    Surrey 472 v Essex 409 & 264-2

Aside from the question of whether Dom Sibley can add to his four first-class wickets, the main issue still to be resolved are the nine runs Dean Elgar needs for a century.

Elgar will be mindful that he missed out on a hundred in the first innings, despite that lengthy opening stand with Paul Walter, and he certainly deserves a ton for his efforts today.

  14. 6 runs

for David Bedinghampublished at 16:14 BST 27 April

    Durham 262-2 – require 74 to win

Ten off that over - Emilio Gay is enjoying himself out there with some fine shots.

He has been bang on the money since minute one and played wonderfully.

And in the next over David Bedingham hits a six followed by a four as Durham close in on the target.

This is only going one way now.

  15. 'Gloucestershire deserve the plaudits'published at 16:12 BST 27 April

Gloucester stayed patient and found a way to win.

They thoroughly deserve all the plaudits from this game, they did everything right.

    Verreynne b Webster 115 (Notts 279 & 515-6 v Warwicks 459)

Kyle Verreynne tries to paddle-sweep Beau Webster and drags the ball into his stumps behind his legs via the bottom edge.

An excellent innings by the South African, who reined in his natural shot-making tendencies in the team's cause and was rewarded with his third Notts century.

Notts lead by 335 as Verreynne departs.

  17. 200 runs

200 partnership for Gay & Bedinghampublished at 16:11 BST 27 April

    Durham 246-2 – require 90 to win

So, here we go in the final session of the match.

Durham's target is now in double figures and they have eight wickets in hand.

The way they are going it might be Emilio Gay and David Bedingham who see them all the way through as their partnership reaches 200.

Lancashire just haven't been able to solve the code to get either out.

Painful it may be, but Kiran Carlson can't be feeling too bad as he cracks Josh Hull away square for four.

Hull digs another short one in and it strikes Carlson pretty close to the first blow in this over. He is down on the haunches again.

    Tough game, cricket.

Ben Charlesworth pumps Matt Montgomery for successive fours and that's that - Gloucestershire, after three straight defeats, are up and running!

It took Charlesworth and skipper Cameron Bancroft less than five overs to knock off the target of 36 and seal their first win of the campaign.

Credit to the Derbyshire tail, with Luis Reece, Zak Chappell and Muhammad Abbas all holding up the visitors and ensuring they had to bat again - but it wasn't enough to stave off defeat.

    Ouch.

Kiran Carlson tries to pull a ball from Josh Hull which strikes him in the midriff.

The winded Glamorgan goes down on haunches, then removes the helmet and lies down as the team physio is summoned.

There is a big red 'blotch' on his abdomen.
