    Leics v Yorks 33-2

Oof! So nearly a third wicket...

Ben Green angles one back in to James Wharton and takes his outside edge, but it drops just short of Ajaz Patel at second slip.

Leicestershire need positive results and it looks like the groundsman has prepared a positive pitch. If you're a bowler that is.

    Elgar LBW b Hutton 12 (Essex 23-1 v Notts)

    There is the breakthrough.

Right-arm over to a left-handed batsman is never easy to get an LBW decision for but Brett Hutton has bowled a beauty.

He nips one back into the pads of Dean Elgar and he is trapped on the crease.

Elgar's disappointing run of scores continues.

The Essex skipper Tom Westley is the new man.

Wow, great looking wicket at Leicester. I'll be 50 in January, but suddenly feel like a bowl!

    Dave

A couple of early Yorkshire wickets would suggest there's something in it for the bowlers at Grace Road, Dave!
