    Target 159

The tactic pays off for India, just three from it and South Africa will already be thinking about the run-rate.

Bit of a tactical curveball from India here.

Shafali Verma is going to open the bowling.

India have got a good total on the board. It will be a tough chase but I do think the powerplay will be critical. I think South Africa will have to go at least eights in the powerplay.

India started positively in the powerplay, largely thanks to Shafali Verma's 31 off 15, and South Africa have got a new opening duo to attempt the same.

Sune Luus has been replaced by Tazmin Brits, who opens with Laura Wolvaardt in the ODI side so it's not a completely new role for her.

South Africa would have been happy around 150 but I don't think 160 is too bad considering the start that India had.

    Thanks, Elizabeth.

Interestingly, WinViz has South Africa as firm favourites. A win for them would really open up the contest for the top two places in the group.

Can India make it three wins from three or will South Africa join them on four points?

Well, India absolutely flew out of the blocks, with Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma smacking eight boundaries in the opening four overs. By the end of the powerplay, they were well placed on 59-2.

But no one could match the fireworks of India's opening duo, with Deepti Sharma (29 off 21) the only other batter to really free her arms.

  9. Ind 158-7published at 20 overs

Marizanne Kapp finishes the innings with a dot ball. Only six runs off the final over.

South Africa will be chasing 159.

  10. Not outpublished at 19.4 overs

Nope, Prema Rawat is comfortably back. It was a poor throw into Marizanne Kapp - too wide.

Is this another wicket? Has Marizanne Kapp run out Prema Rawat?

The umpire is having another look.

    Ghosh c Khaka b Kapp 15 (Ind 153-7)

Richa Ghosh goes down on one knee but skies the ball to Ayabonga Khaka at fine leg, who takes a sharp catch moving forward.

Wicket number two for Marizanne Kapp.

Marizanne Kapp will bowl the final over.

That is terrible. That is a terrible way to attempt close out a death over.

It is just a mistake but she has just gone incredibly wide. She very rarely makes mistakes like that.

  15. Ind 152-6published at 19 overs

Good effort from Chloe Tryon in the deep, putting in a diving stop and releasing the ball before her momentum takes her into the rope.

But the fielders are powerless against the next delivery as Richa Ghosh sweeps powerfully off her legs for four.

And it gets worse for South Africa, with Ayabonga Khaka sending a wide delivery down the leg side and away for four. Head in hands from the bowler.

    150 up.

We've got a Mexican wave sweeping its way around the stands.

Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, but I'd hazard a guess that we wouldn't be seeing it if there were more boundaries for this almost entirely India-supporting crowd to celebrate.

  17. Ind 138-6published at 18 overs

Two overs to go. Ayabonga Khaka will bowl the 19th.

Marizanne Kapp took that catch but barely celebrated. She looks very angry to me. She always does but more angry than usual.

South Africa do look a little bit concerned.

    Deepti c Kapp b Mlaba 29 (Ind 137-6)

Lovely catch from Marizanne Kapp, sliding to her left at fine leg to send Deepti Sharma on her way.

Wicketkeeper Sinalo Jafta has both arms in the air behind the stumps in enthusiastic celebration.

Yet another poorly executed ramp from an Indian batter.

Initially I thought that was a little bit unlucky from Nadine de Klerk. On reflection it wasn't a great ball but Richa Ghosh has placed it really well.

South Africa have got a little bit of a problem here.
