    SA 79-2

    Big moment!

Marizanne Kapp chips one down the ground towards long-on where sub fielder Radha Yadav puts it down.

    They scamper through for two.

  3. SA 77-2published at 12 overs

    Target 159

    10 off the over.

South Africa need a few more overs like that.

  4. Not outpublished at 11.3 overs

    Big inside edge.

Tazmin Brits missed a reverse sweep, but survives.

  5. SA reviewpublished at 11.3 overs

    Big appeal... and given!

But Brits has reviewed straight away. She must've hit it.

I am very impressed by what I've seen from Nandni Sharma. She seems to have all the attributes.

  10. SA 60-2published at 10.3 overs

Tazmin Brits chips one up in the air, but the fielder at long-on doesn't put in much of an effort to get there.

India are probably thinking they're better off keeping her out there than taking any wickets. South Africa are losing the game for themselves with this approach.

  11. SA 59-2published at 10 overs

    Target 159

Prema Rawat responds well to close out the over.

At the halfway mark, South Africa are in a pickle. They need to go at 10 an over from now on.

Prema Rawat just seems to be tightening up a little bit as she's being targeted by Marizanne Kapp.

    Slog sweep... six... just!

It's a sensational effort from Nandni Sharma on the square-leg boundary. Plenty of ground to cover, and she pulls off a full-length dive to get one hand to it but ends up parrying it over the ropes.

Too harsh to call a drop but it looks like this is the over that South Africa are targeting.

  14. SA 49-2published at 9.1 overs

    Better.

Up and over cover, a lovely way for Marizanne Kapp to find the boundary.

  15. SA 45-2published at 9 overs

    Target 159

Five singles off another quiet over, bowled by Arundhati Reddy.

Tazmin Brits has caught up to a run-a-ball 20 but Marizanne Kapp has five from 11. Something's got to give.

It feels like South Africa have to force a couple of things and that is why we're seeing reverse sweeps and we may see a ramp shortly too.

  17. SA 40-2published at 8 overs

    Target 159

Eeek, that was a close one.

Tazmin Brits attempts the reverse again but doesn't get hold of it, but Sree Charani can't get there at short third despite backpedalling frantically.

    They run two more.

Tazmin Brits reverse-sweeps Deepti Sharma's first ball for four.

  20. SA 32-2published at 7 overs

    Target 159

Brits sweeps for three before a couple more singles conclude a decent first over for the debutant.

There are some nervous faces in the South Africa dugout.
