Luke Charlesworth bowls a very full length to Lewis McManus - who defends with a bit of inside edge and pad.

A very full ball is clipped to deep square for one.

Kimber doesn't connect with a booming drive and the ball dribbles off the edge into the leg side.

    Hadley c Thompson b Gilchrist 2 (Glamorgan 259 & 360 v Warwickshire 252)

That is that for Glamorgan's innings this morning. They added 67 to their overnight score to set Warwickshire 368 to win.

Tail ender Ryan Hadley sends one up in the air off Nathan Gilchrist's bowling to Jordan Thompson at point, simple catch.

Time for the Bears top order to pad up. If the rain stays away this could be quite an interesting afternoon.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:22 BST 18 May

    Roderick c Jennings b Anderson 0 (Lancs v Worcs 47-2 - lead by 36)

Good bowling from James Anderson, who gets his second, and Gareth Roderick goes for a second ball duck.

This one shapes in on Roderick and Keaton Jennings does the rest at first slip.

Anderson showing his class once more. A decent flurry from Lancashire after Worcestershire's strong start to their second-innings.

  9. Postpublished at 12:22 BST 18 May

Northants 184-7 target 249 to beat Gloucs

Bowling change and Luke Charlesworth (replacing the injured Gabe Bell) is coming on to bowl to Louis Kimber.

Kimber clips the medium pacer to backward square for one.

Lewis McManus is forward and off the mark with a thick inside edge to square leg.

Width now and Kimber cuts away for a well run three, beating the return throw from Miles Hammond.

Much straighter now and McManus defends.

A loose leg side ball is well taken by a diving James Bracey behind the stumps. 65 needed for Northants. The hosts need three wickets.

  10. Postpublished at 12:21 BST 18 May

    Kent 523 v Durham 231-6

Good ball by James Taylor draws an edge from Kasey Aldridge, but the ball doesn't quite carry to Tawanda Muyeye at second slip.

  11. wicket

    Fisher c Root b Revis 10 (Yorkshire v Surrey 120-9 f/o - trail by 162)

And with the second delivery back - Matthew Revis gets Matthew Fisher for 10. Yorkshire are just one wicket away now!

Really good bowling from Revis and Fisher goes just after being clonked on the back of the helmet.

Safe hands from Joe Root at first slip.

  12. Postpublished at 12:18 BST 18 May

    Yorkshire v Surrey 120-8 - trail by 162

Surrey's Matthew Fisher has been given the OK by the physio after quite a long delay in play.

Matthew Revis races in over the wicket with the first ball back and Fisher plays the ball back down the pitch for no run.

  13. Postpublished at 12:18 BST 18 May

    Kent 523 v Durham 228-6

Change of tactic by Kent as leg-spinner Matt Parkinson comes into the attack. Plenty of wrist action but not a lot of turn in his first over, which is a maiden and sees him beat Kasey Aldridge with the final delivery as the Durham batter tries to cut.

  14. 250 runs

250 up for Glamorganpublished at 12:18 BST 18 May

    Glamorgan 252-9 & 360 v Warwickshire 252

Glamorgan pass 250 in their second innings.

The tenth wicket is worth five after Ryan Hadley joined Timm van der Gugten (19*) at the crease.

Glammy's lead over Warwickshire is now at 360 - their own first-innings total.

  15. Postpublished at 12:17 BST 18 May

    Somerset 526-8d v Sussex 253 & 42-1 f/o

A pause in play as the umpires take a light meter reading...

We're playing on. Has the light got any worse in the last hour?

Dan Hughes sees out the Craig Overton over with a defensive push to mid on.

    Maiden over.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:15 BST 18 May

    Libby lbw b Anderson 21 (Lancs v Worcs 47-1 - lead by 36)

Jake Libby is trapped bang in front by James Anderson and Lancashire have their first.

Libby trudges off but this one looks pretty plumb.

Lancashire needed that after declaring and putting Worcestershire back in this morning. Anderson strikes near the end of his sixth over.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:13 BST 18 May

McSweeney LBW b Williams 46 (Northants 179-7 target 249 to beat Gloucs)

Huge wicket. Will Williams gets one to straighten on a length and Nathan McSweeney is off balance trying to jab the ball down.

    Gloucestershire need three more.

Northants keeper Lewis McManus will bat next.

  18. ouch!

Postpublished at 12:12 BST 18 May

    Yorkshire v Surrey 120-8 f/o - trail by 162

Matthew Fisher chips past bowler Matthew Revis down the ground for four. It wasn't close to being a caught and bowled opportunity.

A little frustrating for Yorkshire but Fisher and Sean Abbott have defended well since coming to the crease.

Fisher is then clipped on the back / shoulder region before the ball ricochets onto the back of his helmet from a quick bouncer from Revis and we will need to have a concussion check here.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:12 BST 18 May

    Norton c Mousley b Gilchrist 7 (Glamorgan 247-9 & 360 v Warwickshire 252)

Warwickshire have a ninth wicket, and a first of the match for Nathan Gilchrist.

He sees off Tom Norton, who has had a great time of things lately. A knock of 29 in the first innings was followed up with four wickets for the 18-year-old with the ball.

In this innings, he played a cover drive for four which any top order batter would be proud of, before attempting similar but only finding the hands of Dan Mousley at extra cover.

Norton looks a real prospect for Glamorgan.

  20. Postpublished at 12:11 BST 18 May

    Derbys 11-0 - target 122

Tidy bowling from Toby Roland-Jones and Ryan Higgins, as you would expect from two such reliable performers.

What Middlesex need right now, though, is wickets.
