Sri Lanka will be thinking how do we accelerate from here? How do we go at at least 10 an over for the last five? 140 is the absolute minimum.

Gareth Delany takes a wicket and Sri Lanka are now in desperate need of runs.

Ireland are properly competing here. Sri Lanka have allowed the spinners to bowl at them. There's been no aggression, they've not been proactive with their scoring shots.

I don't mind that shot from Wellalage given he had two balls left to go after Delany. This was his match-up.

The problem is Delany bowls a big ripping googly and I'm not sure he read it. A big moment.

Does it have the distance? I don't think it does!

Dockrell takes the catch. Delany has his man!

He's reviewed it straight away. Kusal Mendis thinks he's got some glove on this.

It was very full. You'd think it was going on to hit the stumps.

Dockrell didn't get hit for a boundary in those four overs. A testament to the quality of that spell.

Sri Lanka are up against it here. They're going to have to take a risk against spin at some point.

  17. SL 84-3published at 13 overs

George Dockrell goes for eight runs but there's still no charge from Sri Lanka, who have a run-rate of 6.46.

  19. SL 76-3published at 12 overs

Ireland are sticking with spin as Harry Tector enters the fray and again it's a tidy over.

All going to plan so far for the Irish.
