It seems like no time at all I was talking about the 100 coming up for Sri Lanka. The last 30 balls, 65 runs have been scored.

The Irish are under the pump. This crowd is a very passionate one and an atmosphere which had been slightly torpid has become imposing.

  5. SL 135-4published at 18 overs

The game is swinging back to Sri Lanka and Ireland have only themselves to blame.

It's been horrific for Ireland in the last 10 minutes. Before that, they'd been really, really good. This has been hard to watch.

Dropped again! Oh my goodness. I think it's Ross Adair at deep backward square. It wasn't that hard. He didn't judge it properly. He needed to take another two or three strides. He had it in his hands but the moment his wrists and elbows touched the ground, it plopped away.

Crucial this for Sri Lanka. They were behind the game and needed a big over.

A couple of overs in the field can change the momentum for a team. Sri Lanka have capitalised on that first dropped catch from Curtis Campher.

The game has shifted towards Sri Lanka. They might still only get 150 but at one stage it was looking unlikely they would get there.

  10. SL 125-4published at 17 overs

What an over - three missed catches and 21 runs.

In the air, down the ground and George Dockrell this time over-runs it! He was really tight to the boundary line but in his determination to keep his hands cupped, it's ended up slipping through his hands.

If Humphreys was cheesed off before...

Two, two, three, six. We could easily have had wicket, wicket, dot, wicket.

  13. dropped catch

A third missed catch in this over - this time George Dockrell fails to take it on the boundary as Kamindu Mendis hist a six.

Humpreys is thinking what have I got to do? Two, two, three but he could've had two wickets!

It's been hit high in the air. It's been missed by Curtis Campher running in from the boundary! He's over-run it. It has been saved by George Dockrell, so he's not conceded four, but it should have been a wicket. He's been a bit too quick to get to the ball.

  18. dropped catch

Dropped catch - SL 106-4published at 16.1 overs

Kusal Mendis hits it high from a Matthew Humphreys delivery and Curtis Campher runs in to take it but he mistimes it and completely misses the ball.

  19. SL 104-4published at 16 overs

Kimindu Mendis brings up the 100 with a much-needed four and finally a bit of acceleration from the hosts.
