  1. Yorkshire bat againpublished at 12:18 BST 14 June

    Yorkshire 469 & 0-0 v Warwickshire 263

Confirmation that Yorkshire don't enforce the follow on.

There are 78 overs left in the day and if the home side can score at the same rate they did in the first innings they could have a lead of over 400 with an hour and a half left before close.

They start their innings 206 runs ahead.

    Robson c Cullen b Allison 23 (Middx 339 & 57-1 v Worcestershire 265)

Worcestershire finally strike as Ben Allison finds Sam Robson's edge.

First class debutant Henry Cullen takes a good low catch at slip.

Middlesex lead by 131 with nine second innings wickets left.

The Championship is wide open this year. The September fixtures could see multiple teams still in with a shout. Essex need a win this week, and next, to have a realistic chance. Come on lads.

    Kevin, Plymouth

Indeed, Kevin. Great to see. Just 12 points separating Notts in first from Somerset in seventh before this round of fixtures.

  4. Postpublished at 12:15 BST 14 June

    Durham 377 v Derbys 118 & 141-4

Durham have a short leg in place for Nick Potts.

Kasey Aldridge digs one in which gets up to chest height but the line is wrong and Potts is able to guide it wide of the slips and down to third man for four.

He is now 26 not out.

  5. Postpublished at 12:14 BST 14 June

    Leics 187 & 102-1 Essex 401

Shane Snater continues to probe as the Leicestershire batters are forced to rein in their earlier positivity and go on the defensive.

Sheridon Gumbs is not entirely convincing as he guides the Essex seamer into the onside for a single to spoil the maiden.

Just a 25th run Snater has conceded from 14 overs in this innings.

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 93-3

Alfie Ogborne is dropped by Freddie McCannImage source, Shutterstock

Somerset nightwatchman Alfie Ogborne lives to fight another ball. Just.

Ogborne edges it through to Freddie McCann at second slip from Dillon Pennington but somehow McCann conspires to put it down.

It was straight at McCann and he looks pretty forlorn after that. Should be taking those really.

    Lancs 24-1 - target 424

Josh Bohannon gets off the mark with a boundary for Lancashire, flicking through mid-wicket for four off Keith Dudgeon.

Exactly 400 more runs needed for the home side. Nine wickets needed for Kent.

  8. wicket

WICKET Warwickshire all outpublished at 12:11 BST 14 June

    Warwickshire 263 v Yorkshire 469

Number 11 Olly Hannon-Dalby lasted 13 balls before being bowled by George Hill.

Ed Barnard had taken a second round off the fifth ball of the previous over and then couldn't get a single of the last to keep the strike. He ends stranded on 83 not out.

Hassan Ali took two wickets this morning to give him three in the innings along with Jack White.

Yorkshire's first innings lead is 206 but the fact that Warwickshire bowlers are limbering up between innings suggests the follow on is not being enforced.

  9. Postpublished at 12:11 BST 14 June

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 92-3

Somerset nightwatchman Alfie Ogborne is still going strong on 13* from 66 balls as he sees off a maiden from Mohammad Ali.

He's batted for 70 minutes already today and 90 minutes in total. Ogborne has certainly done his job with the bat for the visitors.

  10. Gloucestershire following onpublished at 12:09 BST 14 June

    Northants 465 v Gloucs 268 & 2-0

Northants skipper Luke Procter does indeed enforce the follow-on as Cameron Bancroft and Joe Phillips walk to the crease.

They need 197 to make the home side bat for a second time.

Harry Conway is in for his third over of the morning although his second over lasted just the one ball.

The Gloucs openers pick up a single apiece.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:06 BST 14 June

    Singh c Dawkins b Mahmud 15 (Lancs 19-1 - target 424)

    Breakthrough for Kent!

Bangladesh pace bowler Hasan Mahmud comes into the attack for his first over of this second innings and grabs himself a wicket maiden.

Harry Singh tries to block outside off but can only edge it between the wicketkeeper and Ben Dawkins at first slip.

Dawkins does very well to stoop low to his left and take a fine catch.

  12. Postpublished at 12:05 BST 14 June

    Sussex 521 v Glamorgan 155 & 77-0

Lovely shot by Asa Tribe, who punches Jayden Unadkat just wide of the stumps and down the ground for his fifth boundary.

No damage done for Glamorgan so far this morning.

  13. 100 runs

100 up for Leicestershirepublished at 12:03 BST 14 June

    Leics 187 & 100-1 Essex 401

Lovely shot from Sheridon Gumbs brings up the 100 for the Foxes.

Simon Harmer in and the Leicestershire opener pushes down the ground for four to go to 35. All timing.

  14. Postpublished at 12:02 BST 14 June

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 91-3

It is fair to say Somerset batter James Rew is struggling against Notts seamer Brett Hutton, who has bowled 48 balls this morning without conceding a single run.

That is now EIGHT maidens in a row for Hutton, who has figures of 1-12 from 12 overs.

A great advert for bowling line and length.

Rew has taken 49 balls to get to 5*.

  15. 50 runs

50 opening partnership for Middlesexpublished at 12:01 BST 14 June

    Middx 339 & 51-1 v Worcs 265

They've survived some scares this morning but Middlesex's opening pair of Sam Robson and Ben Geddes are enhancing their team's strong position.

They now have a lead of 125 on a pitch still offering some variable bounce.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:58 BST 14 June

    Patel b Snater 58 (Leics 187 & 96-1 Essex 401)

    Breakthrough for Essex!

Rishi Patel had looked good this morning but sees his off stump knocked back by a beauty from Shane Snater.

It moves away off the seam a touch and passed Patel's defensive push and the 96-run opening stand is broken.

Rehan Ahmed joins Sheridon Gumbs with work to do. Leicestershire trail by 118.

  17. Postpublished at 11:58 BST 14 June

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 91-3

Somerset have added just 18 runs in the 14 overs bowled so far in the first hour of the morning for one wicket.

The lead is 208 though and the visitors are still in a very strong position if they can get the scoreboard ticking.

  18. 6 runs

Barnard scores a maximumpublished at 11:58 BST 14 June

    Warwickshire 260-9 v Yorkshire 469

Ed Barnard comes down the pitch and hits Jack White over the top onto a corrugated iron roof.

To add insult to White's injury Barnard then keeps the strike by taking a single off the next ball, the fifth of the over.

As a Glamorgan fan I am disappointed with the first couple of days at Hove, however on the positive, this is first time this season that we’ve been put in a situation where we have to somehow pull off a miracle to save a draw, which is a huge positive.

    Sam, Cardiff

Glamorgan were fourth in the Division One table before this round of fixtures with two wins, three draws and just one defeat.

They are playing in the top flight for the first time since 2005.

  20. Postpublished at 11:56 BST 14 June

    Lancs 17-0 - target 424

A long, long, long way to go for Lancashire, but this second innings is going better than their first so far.

They were already two down for 13 runs by about this point before being skittled for just 87.
