A good morning for the home side who took the five remaining Gloucestershire wickets for just 35 runs and enforced the follow-on.
However, the visitors have responded well second time around, with Cameron Bancroft (37*) and Phillips (6*) putting on an unbroken stand of 53.

Tribe is not a happy man - he faced 126 balls for his 64, his fourth half-century of the season.
A wicket each for the Sussex spinners in the final few minutes of the morning session and Glamorgan need another 246 to avoid an innings defeat with eight wickets left.

Lewis Goldsworthy fell to Brett Hutton with the first ball of the day and Hutton bowled a remarkable eight maidens in a row for Notts.
Nightwatchman Alfie Ogborne stuck around for more than an hour for 17 but brothers James Rew (33*) and Thomas Rew (19*) have kept things going to put Somerset 265 ahead with six wickets still in hand.

Jonny Bairstow's decision not to enforce the follow on despite having a first innings lead of 206 puts the onus on Yorkshire to score as well as they can and get Warwickshire in again before the close.
The Bears lost their last three wickets for 38 this morning with Hassan Ali claiming two and Ed Barnard finishing 83 not out.
Adam Lyth was deceived by an inswinger from the first division's top wicket taker Ethan Bamber and was bowled not offering a shot.
But after his maiden first class century in the first innings Will Luxton has batted confidently and is on 18 helping Yorkshire push their lead to 233

Cameron Bancroft is beginning to motor.
He takes Raphael Weatherall for six and then tickles a wayward delivery down to fine leg boundary for four more.
It moves him to 37 off 49 balls and brings up the 50 for Northamptonshire.

Barely a push through mid-on by Marcus Harris from Hasan Mahmud but it races away for four.
Another relatively expensive over for Mahmud with nine from it as Lancashire cut the required runs for victory to 352.

Thomas Rew finds two boundaries in three balls from Liam Patterson-White, first tickling fine down the legside for four and then sweeping hard to deep square leg.

A big chance at a stumping for Kent goes begging.
Marcus Harris comes down the track to Matt Parkison's spin but completely misses it.
But then so too does Kent 'keeper Chris Benjamin with Harris a long way out of his crease.
And now a no-ball from Parkinson before Harris eventually gets off the mark with two through mid-off.

It hit middle stump about halfway up.
The 22-year-old has done his hopes of more first-class cricket no harm at all, though.
Big breakthrough for Essex though as Lewis Hill joins Rehan Ahmed.

This has been a very restrained innings by the normally attack-minded Zain ul Hassan, but when a delivery from Dom Goodman climbs on him, he has no qualms about uppercutting over the slips for four.

Bohannon had taken Mahmud for 22 runs in his last over but now he's gone.
It's a lovely ball from Mahmud as he finds the edge of Bohannon's bat and Sam Northeast takes the catch at second slip.
Barring that one expensive over, this has been a solid debut for Mahmud, with five wickets in the match now.
