    Lyth b Bamber 4 (Yorkshire 469 & 19-1 v Warwickshire 263)

Adam Lyth, who shared in a century opening stand in the first innings, leaves one from Ethan Bamber. The ball nips back sharply and clips the off stump leaving the batter nonplussed.

It's Bamber's 33rd wicket of the season enhancing his position as the first division's top wicket taker.

    Yorkshire lead by 225.

    Lancs 58-1 - target 424

While Lancashire have been moving along to 58-1, we've been doing some digging through the history books to check where this would rank in the list of highest County Championship match-winning run chases.

    The answer?

Well, if Lancashire did knock off 424 runs, it would be the 13th highest successful run chase in English first-class county cricket history.

The highest came in June 1925 when Middlesex hit 502-6 to beat Nottinghamshire, though Surrey almost surpassed that in June 2023 when they scored 501-5 to beat....... Kent.

Matt Milnes has walked off for Kent to be replaced by 12th man Grant Stewart. That's hopefully a precaution as far as the visitors are concerned.

    Yorkshire 469 & 17-0 v Warwickshire 263

The century maker in the first innings, Will Luxton, hits a four and a three off consecutive deliveries.

Yorkshire have taken their lead to 223.

100 up for Glamorganpublished at 12:39 BST 14 June

    Sussex 521 v Glamorgan 155 & 100-0

No ball from Dom Goodman - brought into the match as replacement for Henry Crocombe - and he kicks the ground in frustration as Asa Tribe turns it into the leg-side for a single which brings up a century stand for Glamorgan's first wicket.

Tribe is 56 not out and Zain ul Hassan has 25 - they have played the situation very well so far this morning.

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 116-4

Thomas Rew gets his first boundary of the second innings for Somerset, flicking away through the legside from Mohammad Ali to move to five.

T Rew made 68 in the first innings and will be hoping for more of the same here.

Somerset now lead by 233 runs.

Leicestershire opener Sheridon Gumbs continues on and moves within four of his fifty with a handsome shot off Simon Harmer.

The left-hander drives confidently through the covers for his eighth boundary of the innings.

Charlie Bennett into the attack as Shane Snater takes a breather.

    Durham 377 v Derbyshire 118 & 158-4 (f/o)

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

It's beef and Yorkshire puds for lunch, but a few people in the media centre were worried today that we wouldn't reach that point.

For the hungry among the press corps, there is good news in the shape of Harry Came and nightwatchman Nick Potts.

They have resisted the efforts of the Durham bowlers all morning and have put on a stand of 59 so far.

Potts' score of 36 is his highest in a first-class match. Came has 68.

Now, has anyone seen the mustard?

    Lancs 57-1 - target 424

Another three boundaries for Josh Bohannon and a very, very expensive over from Hasan Mahmud with 22 from it.

Bohannon drives straight down the ground and then smashes one away through the legside, before cutting away to the cover boundary.

Five fours from one over and add a no-ball into the mix... Lancashire race past 50.

  10. Postpublished at 12:35 BST 14 June

    Northants 465 v Gloucs 268 & 26-0 (f/o)

Harry Conway throws his hands in the air as Cameron Bancroft fences at a ball which lifts past his outside edge.

But there's a nice reply from the Gloucestershire skipper as he strokes an over-pitched delivery through the covers to move into double figures.

The Australian then shuffles down the pitch to nullify Conway's threat and drops it into the legside for one more.

    Lancs 45-1 - target 424

Josh Bohannon times a drive through wide mid-off from Hasan Mahmud and it's trickling away to the boundary...

Daniel Bell-Drummond gives chase but can't quite keep it from going for four.

Bohannon then pulls away for four through square leg from the very next ball from Mahmud.

Another 379 still needed for Lancashire.

    Geddes lbw Allison 24 (Middx 339 & 62-2 v Worcs 265)

Ben Allison removes both openers in consecutive overs.

He gets one through to strike Ben Geddes in front of the stumps. It's high and Geddes can't hide his disappointment but it strikes him on the back pad and, after taking a moment to consider, umpire Gandhe decides it's going to hit.

Middlesex lead by 136 with eight wickets left

  13. 50 partnership for Derbyshirepublished at 12:29 BST 14 June

    Durham 377 v Derbys 118 & 150-4

Nick Potts takes a single off Duanne Olivier as he and Harry Came post a 50 stand for Derbyshire after almost 90 minutes of batting this morning.

Came turns Olivier's next delivery to square leg for one as the total reaches 150 - and the visitors are now 109 behind.

    Leics 187 & 110-1 (f/o) Essex 401

Shane Snater wipes an arm across his forehead as he walks back to his mark in a warm morning in Leicester. He's got through some work on day three.

A Sheridon Gumbs single takes him within 11 runs of his maiden first-class fifty on debut.

And Rehan Ahmed plays a lovely shot off the back foot to pick up a couple more.

Somerset nightwatchman Alfie Ogborne is finally gone!

It's a full, fast and straight yorker from Mohammad Ali and it beats Ogborne for pace before smashing off stump out the ground.

Ali channels his inner Freddie Flintoff by celebrating with arms outstretched while standing still for a good five seconds.

And that now brings James Rew's younger brother Thomas Rew to the crease with him.

  16. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 12:25 BST 14 June

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 104-3

James Rew hits it straight back down the ground to Dillon Pennington, who sticks out a right hand but can't take the catch for a caught and bowled.

It then ricochets onto the stumps at the non-striker's end but Alfie Ogborne had grounded his bat in the crease in time, to avoid getting out in the same fashion as Rew did in the first innings.

Rew makes the most of the extra life by smashing over Pennington's head for four from the final ball of the over.

Asa Tribe is down to track to off-spinner Jack Carson and flips the ball over mid-wicket for four to reach his fourth 50 of the season, this one taking him 96 balls.

No major alarms so far this morning for the Glamorgan openers.

  18. Postpublished at 12:23 BST 14 June

    Northants 465 v Gloucs 268 & 16-0 (f/o)

Luke Guthrie swings in a yorker to conclude his second over but Cameron Bancroft digs it out and scampers a single.

It's not easy out there for the openers - as you would expect - but so far no damage.

  19. 100 runs

100 up for Somersetpublished at 12:22 BST 14 June

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 100-3

Somerset reach the 100 mark with a bye down the legside from Dillon Pennington's bowling and their lead is now 217 runs.

Normally a number 11 bat, Alfie Ogborne has stuck around for 15 from 73 balls, while James Rew is unbeaten on 8 from 60 balls.

  20. Postpublished at 12:19 BST 14 June

    Leics 187 & 106-1 Essex 401

Rehan Ahmed is nicely off the mark to his 11th ball with a drive square through the offside, off Shane Snater, for four.

Ahmed took four wickets in Essex's first knock but missed out with the bat in rhe first innings, trapped by Snater for five.

An inside edge helps avoid the same fate this time around as Snater gets a ball to keep low and hits him plumb in front.
