    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 185-5

Somerset score a run. Been a little while since we've said that.

It's Thomas Rew who gets it, nudging a single to mid-wicket from Lyndon James.

London buses and all that... Archie Vaughan then gets off the mark from his 23rd ball, flicking off his legs and the Somerset pair push for three.

And from the final ball of the over, Thomas Rew drives through the offside and it flies backward of square for four.

    Sussex 521 v Glamorgan 155 & 145-2

Jaydev Unadkat is back for Sussex and that's a well-timed cover drive by Ben Kellaway, which brings him four runs and takes his score into double figures.

  3. 50 runs

50 for Luxtonpublished at 14:23 BST

    Yorkshire 469 & 69-2 v Warwickshire 263

Will Luxton is a batter in form. Having more than doubled his career best with 167 in the first innings, he's added a half century in the second.

He gets there pulling Hannon-Dalby and nearly holing out to Beau Webster.

Luxton's batted confidently having clearly been boosted by his earlier efforts and he's helped push Yorkshire's lead to 279.

They'll want that to rise to at least 400 before

  4. Postpublished at 14:21 BST

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 177-5

Archie Vaughan bats out a maiden from Liam Patterson-White and is still yet to get off the mark after 22 balls.

    Kelly lbw b Porter 19 (Leics 187 & 166-4 (f/o) Essex 401)

Another big blow for home hopes.

Nick Kelly plays around a Jamie Porter delivery which has a little extra nip and wraps him on the back pad.

It's bang in front, going on to hit middle and leg, and the first innings dangerman goes for 19.

    Joey Evison joins Lewis Hill.

  6. Postpublished at 14:19 BST

    Lancs 129-2 - target 424

Matt Parkinson goes up for a very enthusiastic appeal after spinning it into Keaton Jennnigs and catching him on the pads but it's hitting a long way outside the line of the stumps.

  7. Postpublished at 14:17 BST

    Leics 187 & 166-3 (f/o) Essex 401

More width from Simon Harmer and Nick Kelly gets down low to cut him square for his first four. He's up to 13.

Kelly top scored in the first innings with 78 and steps down the wicket and whips th spinner wide of long on for a couple more.

The deficit is down below 50 - 48 more to make Essex bat again.

  8. Postpublished at 14:16 BST

    Lancs 127-2 - target 424

Not really a dropped catch but Marcus Harris is slightly lucky as he takes an edge off Bertie Foreman and it flies past slip for four.

Keith Dudgeon gets a fingertip to it but it would be harsh to call that a drop.

  9. new ball

New ball at Riversidepublished at 14:16 BST

    Durham 377 v Derbyshire 118 & 192-5

We enter a crucial passage of play at Chester-le-Street.

Derbyshire are still 73 behind as Ben Raine takes the new ball.

Undaunted, Harry Came steers behind point for four to enter the 90s.

Matthew Potts will presumably be called on at the other end, needing one more wicket for a five-for.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14:16 BST

    Wharton lbw Hannon-Dalby 5 (Yorkshire 469 & 67-3 v Warwickshire 263)

Olly Hannon-Dalby, who started his professional career at Yorkshire many moons ago, gets one to nip back at James Wharton and has him lbw.

Will Luxton (48 not out) is the only batter who's looked comfortable.

Yorkshire now lead by 273. At their current scoring rate they could be 400 ahead with about an hour to go today.

  11. Postpublished at 14:14 BST

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 177-5

Archie Vaughan doesn't seem in a hurry to get off the mark. He's seen off 13 balls so far as Liam Patterson-White continues with spin for Notts.

  12. Postpublished at 14:12 BST

    Northants 465 v Gloucs 268 & 75-1 (f/o)

Tommy Boorman plays a classy shot for four through the offside to spoil Liam Guthrie's hopes of a maiden from his sixth over. It takes him to nine.

Cameron Bancroft then picks up a single off Harry Conway to move within a couple of his fifty.

    Lancs 118-2 - target 424

How many runs do Lancashire need to get to before we starting thinking about the possibility of them chasing down this huge target of 424?

This partnership between Keaton Jennings (42*) and Marcus Harris (28*) is now worth 60 runs.

Lancashire still need another 306 to win. If they did, it would be their highest ever run chase in County Championship history.

  15. Postpublished at 14:08 BST

    Durham 377 v Derbys 118 & 185-5

Will Rhodes continues for Durham but there is only one more over after this one to the new ball.

Martin Andersson is under way with a single.

  16. Postpublished at 14:08 BST

    Leics 187 & 159-3 (f/o) Essex 401

Nick Kelly has showed his intent as he steps down the wicket to an ovepitched ball from Simon Harmer and smashes it back over the South Africa spinner's head for six.

In the next over, Jamie Porter then gets a little extra bounce which Lewis Hill just about deals with. Not entirely comfortably.

    J Rew c Clarke b James 50 (Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 174-5)

Well James Rew was starting to look good... but it's 50 and out.

It's a bit of a nothing shot by Rew really as he dabbles at one outside off from Lyndon James and nicks off to wicketkeeper Joe Clarke.

James gets James and Somerset are five down with a lead of 291.

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 174-4

Somerset's James Rew pushes into the legside from Liam Patterson-White and that single takes him through to 50 from 103 balls.

Rew had to grind it out early on in this innings but he's really finding his feet now. Six fours on the way to the half-century.

    WICKETpublished at 14:01 BST

    Potts b Parkinson (Durham 377 v Derbys 118 & 183-5)

They didn't need the new ball after all.

Left-arm spinner Callum Parkinson produces a beauty which turns enough to beat the outside edge and flatten Nick Potts' off stump.

Well batted by nightwatchman Potts, though - he was out there for 108 minutes and faced 87 balls for his career-best score, sharing a stand of 84 with Harry Came.

Derbyshire are still 75 behind as Martin Andersson comes out to bat.
