England captain and player of the series, Harry Brook:

On partnership with Jos Buttler: "We had a lot of fun out there. We bounced off each other.

"We were just trying to get ourselves in the best position we could to defend a big total and we batted really good together.

"I am striking the ball nicely. I feel I'm in a good place in my game. We managed to get ourselves to number one in the world and that was the aim after the second game."

It's important for the selectors to think about players not just the T20 World Cup in 2028 but also the Olympic Games. But they have time to sort it out.

Obviously with a 50-over World Cup next year perhaps they have prioritised that format a little more.

India have a lot talent but they need to be exposed to different experiences and learn from them.

India captain Shreyas Iyer: "There's a lot to take from this series. The conditions, the awareness, the adaptations to the wicket. Of all the grounds we played on, this was probably the best. The approach to our batting was different today. It's all about adaptation, the conditions kept changing. As professionals we need to learn.

"It's important that we communicate as much as possible about what we could have done better over here. Fielding plays a key role in winning matches. This is one aspect we need to work on."

England player of the match, Jos Buttler: "I am obviously delighted. It's been a little bit of a lean patch for a while. I am really happy to get back to my best and contribute to a brilliant series win.

"In the IPL I played good and felt good about my game but there's something different about coming back into an England shirt."

This India batting is all a little bit of the same. You need players who still have power but can work the ball around.

It's obviously been a disapointing series and the selectors have to go back to the drawing board. They need wicket takers up front - and they have that in Jasprit Bumrah - but they still need to find them in the middle overs.

We were on course for two centuries from England in one match. But skipper Harry Brook fell five runs short in his unbeaten innings off just 45 balls.

In the field India have been way below par - both catching and outfield wise.

Unlike India, England held on to most of their catches today. This was a really smart take from Phil Salt.

A series to forget for India but you obviously have to try and learn from it. There is inexperience in this side, especially in this series. But there aren't too many positives to take forward, apart from an innings here and an innings there.

I think tactically England have been superior in this series. Some of India's plans have not sat well with me.

The slower ball has taken the wicket, but was it going down? We'll have to wait and see.
