    118-3 (Target: 261)

Tawanda Muyeye has released the handbrake since reaching his half century and he has taken a liking to Ben Charlesworth.

The Glocs man had been punted for 25 in his last two overs – three fours for Muyeye and two for Daniel Bell-Drummond.

He will surely not be given another by captain Cameron Bancroft who needs another option.

  2. 50 runs

50 for Tawanda Muyeyepublished at 14:36 BST 11 May

    Kent 102-3 (Target: 261)

Tawanda Muyeye nudges Matt Taylor off his pads for a single down to square leg and that is his half century.

It has taken 60 balls and has contained nine fours (five of them coming in nine balls in a fireworks display just before lunch).

  3. Glamorgan need 47published at 14:32 BST 11 May

    Glam 236-5 - target 283 v Somerset

Jake Ball overpitches and Ryan Hadley now gets in on the act with an off side punch for four.

Hadley playing very much second fiddle, 26 off 162 balls, but what a job he’s doing.

Sean Dickson then takes Lewis Gregory for another boundary - the shot of the day, as sweet and flowing a cover drive as you’ll see.

He works two more to bring up the century stand.

The target under 50 now too and Dickson has 71.

  4. Postpublished at 14:32 BST 11 May

    Kent 101-3 (Target: 261)

Tawanda Muyeye and Daniel Bell-Drummond have nudged their partnership up to 37 as Kent move towards three figures.

It has not been super quick with the pair needing 58 balls to this point but 22 of those were dots by DBD who was slow to get off the mark.

This partnership could make a significant move towards this total.

I feel bad for Crawley but he’s done now. At least Duckett is keeping his place.

    Zayan, Dagenham

A lot of exciting games going on today, and the usual Surrey draw of course.

    William, Durham

Are Glamorgan edging to an unlikely win here.

    Notts 415 & 266-3 v Surrey 449

If we were at the business end of the season, there'd be talk of a potential Nottinghamshire declaration fairly soon, with the home side 232 in front and 48 overs to be bowled.

It hasn't been dull, with Ben Duckett slapping Dan Lawrence's full toss for six, but you get the feeling this will be more a case of batting practice as we move deeper into the afternoon.

  7. Postpublished at 14:22 BST 11 May

    Glam 224-5 - target 283 v Somerset

Four overs for just four runs but then Migael Pretorius goes too full and Sean Dickson takes full advantage to flick through midwicket for four more.

The target comes down to 59 now.

Oh Glammy Glammy - less than 100 to win. Let's do this team!! 2 WINS on the bounce.

    Len, south Wales

Crawley needs a break from County Cricket. All these games are doing his confidence no good.

    Ray, Tytherington

I was at Edgbaston for day 1 of this game and if you had told me that we would win it by nearly 400 runs I would have laughed. What a brilliant effort by the Bears!

    Matthew, Birmingham

  9. Sussex pay the penaltypublished at 14:15 BST 11 May

    Sussex 430 & 16-1 v Leics 328 & 232

During the rain delay it appears that Sussex have been penalised five runs.

It has been displayed as a level two offence under Law 42.2 which governs players' conduct around things like dissent and excessive appealing.

We understand it relates to the moment after Daniel Hughes was given out just before lunch.

  10. Postpublished at 14:14 BST 11 May

    Kent 72-3 (Target: 261)

Gabe Bell so nearly gets that through the defences of Tawanda Muyeye but the ball takes the inside edge and squirts past the leg stump.

He runs through for a quick single which allows Daniel Bell-Drummond to finally get off the mark with a single off the 22nd ball he has faced.

  11. ouch!

Postpublished at 14:13 BST 11 May

    Notts 415 & 250-3 v Surrey 449

Jack Haynes is the latest Nottinghamshire batter to take a blow on the hand as a ball rears up off the surface from Dan Worrall.

Ben Duckett had to have treatment earlier after a similar blow from Sean Abbott but it doesn't seem to have left any lasting damage - and Haynes' response is a positive one as well as he steers Worrall for four later in the over.

  12. Postpublished at 14:06 BST 11 May

    Notts 415 & 245-3 v Surrey 449

Dan Worrall's return in this match has reinvigorated the Surrey attack and he's started the afternoon session in excellent rhythm.

Line, length and a bit of swing is a strong combination as Jack Haynes plays out a maiden.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:55 BST 11 May

    Northeast lbw b Williams 4 (Kent 64-3 Target: 261)

Not the restart Kent had in mind and Will Williams has the breakthrough straight after the extended lunch break.

No dissent from the batsman either with Sam Northeast looking back at the wickets, checking his alignment with his front pad, and walking head bowed from the middle.

    Grudging approval, that is called.

Derbyshire strike just after the break.

    It’s Shoaib Bashir again.

He floats one up outside off and lures James Sales into a firm drive that produces an edge to slip!

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:54 BST 11 May

    Clarke lbw b Worrall 59 (Notts 415 & 237-3 v Surrey 449)

Two balls later, Dan Worrall has his seventh wicket of the match!

There's to be no second hundred of the game for Joe Clarke, who is pinned in front for 59.

Jack Haynes is the new man in for Nottinghamshire.

  16. 50 runs

for Sean Dicksonpublished at 13:53 BST 11 May

    Glam 213-5 - target 283 v Somerset

Jake Ball is too straight to Sean Dickson and flicks through midwicket for an eighth boundary to raise fifty in 99 balls.

Then almost a breakthrough as Migael Pretorius finds an edge from Ryan Hadley but it lands safe between first and second slip and races away to the third man fence.

The target is down to 70.

  17. 100 runs

100 for Ben Duckettpublished at 13:52 BST 11 May

    Notts 415 & 237-2 v Surrey 449

Ben Duckett steers Dan Worrall for a single to bring up his first century of the season - and his first in Nottinghamshire colours since 2024.

Duckett has made four half-centuries this season, but this is the first he's converted into three figures.

  18. rain stops play

Rain stops playpublished at 13:52 BST 11 May

    Sussex 16-1 (Target: 131)

Some fairly persistent rain has arrived at Hove which is not great news for Sussex.

Covers are on and they are the ones that cover the square not just the wicket.

  19. dropped catch

Clark dropped on 9published at 13:51 BST 11 May

    Sussex 16-1 (Target: 131)

Tom Helm finds the edge of Tom Clark's bat and the edge flies to first slip but Rishi Patel cannot hang on to it.

Big blunder from the Leics opener and a break for the hosts but, rain is imminent.

  20. Play to resume at Bristolpublished at 13:49 BST 11 May

    Glos v Kent 64-2 (target 261)

The good news from Bristol is that, after a slightly extended lunch break, the covers are off and we can get back to the business of this intriguing Kent run chase.

Eight overs have been lost, so Kent now have a minimum of 64 available to score another 197.
