Good use of the feet from Santner. Got right to the pitch of the ball, check-drove it, held the pose and it goes for six.

What a shot to end the innings!

Beaten by a ragging googly the previous ball, Mitchell Santner is down the track to the last and plays a gorgeous lofted drive that sends the ball high over long-off for six.

Good effort from the England bowlers, though, to drag things back.

Tournament cricket can be hard when you're sat on the bench. When you get the opportunity you want to prove you should be staying in the XI. Rehan Ahmed has bowled nicely.

Down the wicket came McConchie, trying to smack the ball to kingdom come, and Rehan Ahmed has his second.

All seven wickets have fallen to spin.

    McConchie b Ahmed 14 (NZ 152-7)

Rehan Ahmed has a second wicket!

A misfield from Tom Banton gave Cole McConchie a bonus four the ball before but it works out as the right-hander stays on strike.

He comes charging down to Ahmed, has a big swing and miss and the ball clatters into the timbers.

It's rare in T20 cricket for a spinner to close out an innings but I think Harry Brook has this bang on. The ball is starting to grip and turning sharply.

Well, it's going to be 16 because Rehan Ahmed will bowl the last...

Another splendid over from Adil Rashid. You'll take conceding five off the penultimate over with two big hitters at the crease.

  10. NZ 147-6published at 19 overs

Too good from Adil Rashid, beating Cole McConchie all ends up a number of times in the over.

McConchie does get a couple away for twos and a leg-side wide makes it five from it in total.

Who will bowl the last? Jofra Archer still one, Sam Curran has three...

Sam Curran's economy rate of 8.74 in the final five overs is bettered only by Corbin Bosch, Usman Tariq and Maheesh Theekshana at this World Cup - New Zealand will no doubt have done their homework and will be hoping to get the better of his yorker-heavy, pace on strategy.

  12. NZ 144-6published at 18.2 overs

Six or seven, Graham?! Even if Jos Buttler doesn't open, you can't be dropping someone as good as him that low down in a T20 - even if he is horribly out of form.

Is Buttler going to open for England? Or will they throw a curveball with either Rehan or Curran going out to pinch hit and drop Jos down to 6/7?

  15. NZ 142-6published at 18 overs

Cole McConchie and Mitchell Santner put on 84 in New Zealand's win over Sri Lanka on Wednesday... on this very pitch.

They know this surface well then and McConchie ends the boundary drought with a nice sweep behind square for four.

    Seven from the over.

The ball turns back and crashes into the stumps. New Zealand have lost three wickets for 12 runs and haven't had a boundary for 25 balls. They're spluttering at the moment to 160 if they're lucky.

That ball has turned a mile back into Glenn Phillips. When you look at the shot in isolation, it looks a bad one, but you're not expecting it to turn that much. There's something in this pitch.

The past three overs have been brilliant for England. The spin for England has clawed them back. It's not a 170, 180 pitch. It might be let's get to 150 and see what happens.

    WICKETpublished at 17.1 overs

    Phillips b Jacks 39 (NZ 135-6)

    Bowled 'im!

An ugly heave from Glenn Phillips and Will Jacks' gets the ball to turn sharply and hit middle stump.

We knew spin would play a big part in this one and so it is proving. England's slow bowlers have helped drag this innings back - but it's not necessarily great news ahead of the chase.

  19. NZ 135-5published at 17 overs

Excellent over from Liam Dawson to end his spell - and it is the fourth in a row without a boundary.

New Zealand have lost all momentum and have three overs to try and change that going into the second innings.
