Tom Banton has crunched that for four.

It's a very long boundary, if that had been the other side, it would have gone about 15 rows back.

    Target 160

Tom Banton gets off the mark second ball with a single and immediately exchanges another with Jacob Bethell.

Back on strike, he sweeps the penultimate ball of the over for four - a shot to cheer for England and Pakistan fans alike.

Glenn Phillips was charging away in celebration. Brook is annoyed with himself. He's taken on the shorter boundary, it's not necessarily the wrong shot, he's just not got all of it.

New Zealand are ecstatic, they know how important a wicket that is. If anybody was going to chase this down in double-quick time, it was Harry Brook.

    Glenn Phillips strikes first ball!

Harry Brook tries to smack him over long-off but the ball falls short and into the waiting hands of Daryl Mitchell.

Phillips roars and leaps around in delight. Brook looks furious as he walks off.

  6. Eng 50-2published at 7 overs

    Target 160

England will be happy to see off Mitchell Santner. He's mixing up his pace nicely, including a slow floaty delivery which drifts into Jacob Bethell's knee.

He also throws himself into the dirt to cut off a single.

Glenn Phillips will bowl the eighth over.

Buttler is keeping well, stick with him. To remove him causes two problems, he will come good, have a little faith!

Field is up so Harry Brook gave himself room. That is a clever shot.

He moves so far that had he missed that ball, it would have missed leg stump.

Surely that dismissal has to mark the end of Buttler has It's just sad to listen to. Move Banton or Brook to the top of the order and bring in Duckett or play Rehan Ahmed in the middle order as a extra batsmen.

    Stephen, Middleton

Time for Duckett, he’s been probably our best short-format batter but it looks over for Jos…

With the target only 160, England won't panic yet.

That boundary is important for Jacob Bethell to lift some of the pressure. I wonder whether he has enough shots to rotate strike early in his innings, he's fine once he gets going.

  13. Eng 34-2published at 5 overs

New Zealand turn to spin, with captain Mitchell Santner bringing himself into the attack.

There's a single and leg-bye before Jacob Bethell gets in a bit of a tangle, getting down on one knee and attempting a sweep. However, he nails it next ball, reversing and dispatching Santner to the rope for four.

Don't drop Buttler - move him down the order. There are at least 3 one-day openers in the second half of the team, so use one of them and let Buttler play primarily as keeper.

Later in the over, Harry Brook powers Lockie Ferguson through the covers for four more, but not before trying and failing at yet another ramp.

That is an extraordinary shot from Harry Brook. I don't even know how to describe that.

He's done some damage to some pixels in the big screen anyway!
