It is onion bag for Ryan Rickelton first up. Then a slower ball that is a step hit. He din't get anywhere near the middle of the bat with the second but the modern bats are so good. They just trust that it is going to go for six if they have a full swing of the bat.

Rickleton just has so much confidence in his game at the moment.

Brad Evans has been well and truly dispatched by Ryan Rickelton!

Back-to-back sixes from the left-hander South Africa batter. The first is launched over long-on and sails into the stands.

Evans responds with a slower ball and Rickleton plays the same shot and while the contact is not quite as clean it still has enough on it to fly over the boundary.

  3. SA 30-2published at 5 overs

No wickets in that third over from Sikandar Raza but he's been the key man with the ball for Zimbabwe thus far.

  4. SA 30-2published at 5 overs

Ryan Rickelton and Dewald Brevis are content to farm the strike off the remainder of Sikandar Raza's over.

Bowling three overs in the powerplay is very, very tough so I did wonder if Sikandar Raza would want to keep this over up his sleeve.

  6. 6 runs

    SA 27-2published at 4.2 overs

Ryan Rickleton gives himself room and pummels Sikandar Raza over the boundary at long-on. The South Africa left-hander hit that as clean as a whistle.

That was Brad Evans' effort ball and it is hit him right on the badge of the helmet.

Getting hit nowadays, the helmets are so good with the new technology used.

Brad Evans clocks Ryan Rickelton on the front of the helmet with a bouncer.

Rickleton was attempting to hook the ball but missed it.

The South Africa batter looks a little bit dazed here and is rubbing his bonce.

We'll have the necessary concussion checks.

    Game on!

That is brilliantly bowled by Sikandar Raza for the wicket. It didn't bounce much.

Raza has so many skills. He has adapted to this game so, so well.

That is a scuttler from Sikandar Raza.

Like he did in the first innings, he is doing it again, and South Africa in a little bit of trouble.

    Markram b Sikandar Raza 4 (SA 14-2)

Skids on from Sikandar Raza and bowls 'im!

The knuckle ball from the Zimbabwe skipper and the ball fizzes on low under Aiden Markram's bat.

Markram lingers at the crease, looking at the pitch, before dragging his heels as he leaves the field.

Ryan Rickleton is one of the reasons why South African cricket is on the up.

Him, Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs have been exposed to so much cricket around the world. They've been talent-stopped and been in IPL training camps since a young age.

South Africa are cashing in on these young players.

  18. SA 13-1published at 2.3 overs

Sikandar Raza skips in, hiding the ball behind his back before delivering, gets a leading edge off the bat of Ryan Rickelton but the ball drops safe.

Ryan Rickleton has almost predicted that Blessing Muzarabani would continue back of a length and pressed forward.

  20. 6 runs

    SA 12-1published at 2 overs

Ryan Rickelton picks up one back of a length from Blessing Muzarabani and heaves the Zimbabwe seamer over cow corner and into the stands for six.

    That was walloped.
