    That is why the New England Patriots lead the AFC East!

    TreVeyon Henderson has just regained the Patriots their lead one play after they lost it.

    On their first down after the punt, Henderson runs 65 yards with the ball and helped by a clever piece of blocking from quarterback Drake Maye, gets his second touchdown of the night!

    It is his fourth touchdown this season of over 50 yards, joining Saquon Barkley in NFL history for that many in a single season.

    This game is breathless!

    Field goal - Chargers take lead against Chiefs

    Los Angeles Chargers 16-13 Kansas City Chiefs

    Omarion Hampton kicks off the Chargers drive with a 26-yard run to get them into Chiefs territory.

    Justin Herbert is then sacked for the fourth time on third down but Cameron Dicker kicks a 49-yard field goal to put the Chargers in front for the first time today.

    Washington Commanders 29-14 New York Giants

    What a night for Washington in what has been a season to forget.

    Terry McLaurin takes a deep catch from Marcus Mariota for a 51-yard touchdown!

    Jake Moody converts the kick for a lead of 15 points.

  4. Chiefs kissing goodbye to the play-offs?

    As it stands, with the Bills, Texans and Colts all leading, and the Chiefs losing to the Chargers, Kansas City is on the way to being eliminated from the play-offs!

    Still a long way to go of course, but with Houston and Jacksonville cruising, it's all coming down to the fourth quarters in Kansas City and New England.

    New England Patriots 24-28 Buffalo Bills

    Incredible from Josh Allen and the Bills!

    Allen runs four yards to get over the line for what he thought was a touchdown, only to be sent back 10 yards for offensive holding O'Cyrus Torrence.

    On the next play, Allen finds Dawson Knox from 14 yards and he takes the catch!

    Matt Prater kicks the extra point and the Bills lead by four, having been 21-0 down in the first half!

    Ouch! - Jefferson forces Rice drop

    Los Angeles Chargers 13-13 Kansas City Chiefs

    Patrick Mahomes fires a pass into Rashee Rice on third down but just as the receiver turns his head, he's lit up by Chargers safety Tony Jefferson and drops the ball.

    Even part of Rice's helmet comes off in the tackle, and he takes a while to get back to his feet before the Chiefs punt.

    It's getting nervy in Kansas City.

    Cleveland Browns 3-28 Chicago Bears

    The Bears are cruising in Chicago.

    D'Andre Swift carries the ball 17 yards for the Bears' fourth touchdown of the night and his second.

    Cairo Santos goes four from four with extra point conversions.

    Washington Commanders 22-14 New York Giants

    Following Darius Slayton's dropped catch, things go from bad to worse for the Giants.

    Yonghoe Koo gets a 51-yard attempt for a field goal but for the second time tonight, steers it wide left.

  9. Controversy in Buffalo

    New England Patriots 24-21 Buffalo Bills

    Fans of the Patriots may not want to read this post.

    Bills quarterback Josh Allen sends a 37-yard pass towards Khalil Shakir and in tandem, he and Patriots' Marcus Jones takes the catch at the same time.

    It appeared to be Jones' ball on first viewing, but it is given towards Shakir and the Bills, eight yards from goal.

    Surely, the Bills cannot turn this around?

  10. Chargers punt

    Los Angeles Chargers 13-13 Kansas City Chiefs

    Justin Herbert finds Oronde Gadsden for a first down but the Chargers go early on 4th & 11 so pick up a false-start penalty and have to punt.

    This just about sums things up for the Giants.

    Jaxson Darts picks out the run of Darius Slayton in the end zone, but he drops the catch.

    We are into the final quarter in Buffalo for this AFC East thriller between the Patriots and the Bills.

    The Patriots need a win for the division title and led 21-0 during the first half.

    But inspired by Josh Allen and James Cook, the Bills are taking this one all the way!

    Trey McBride IS the Arizona offence right now, and he takes a short catch here b efore storming into the end zone - barging away three tacklers as he does, an d tacklers from the best defence in the league as well.

    Two touchdowns today for possibly the best tight end in the league right now.

  14. Sack - Chiefs go three-and-out

    Los Angeles Chargers 13-13 Kansas City Chiefs

    After spending six minutes of game-time on the field at the start of the second half, the Chiefs' defence gets just a minute to catch their breath before having to get back out there.

    Kansas City go three-and-out after Patrick Mahomes is sacked for the third time today, this time by Chargers linebacker Odafe Oweh.

    New York Jets 13-38 Jacksonville Jaguars

    This one looks done as Travis Etienne Jr. catches another touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence - who is having quite a day against the Jets.

    The former No.1 overall pick now has 259 passing yards and four passing touchdowns - along with 51 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. Big day if you've got him in fantasy (I haven't).

  16. Turnover - Bears intercept Sanders' near touchdown pass

    Cleveland Browns 3-21 Chicago Bears

    Just as Shedeur Sanders thought he made up for his costly intercepted pass, the Bears had to spoil the party once more.

    Having made a 47 yard pass a couple of plays earlier, Sanders goes long again and appears to find Jerry Jeudy in the end zone from 24 yards.

    The running cornerback Jaylon Johnson had other ideas, taking the catch in the end zone and picking off Sanders for the second time in this quarter.

    Arizona Cardinals 7-30 Houston Texans

    Tight end Dalton Schultz collects a four-yard touchdown pass from CJ Stroud as Houston hit the 30-point mark.

    With this defence and a balanced attack, Houston could be a serious issue for teams in the play-offs.

    Las Vegas Raiders 0-31 Philadelphia Eagles

    After the Raiders go three-and-out, Saquon Barkley gains two first downs for the Eagles before they open the fourth quarter with their fourth touchdown of the day.

    Jalen Hurts drills it down the middle to AJ Brown for a 27-yard touchdown, and after moaning about not getting enough of the ball earlier in the season, Brown has now reached 100 receiving yards in three straight games.

  19. Turnover - Bills intercept Maye long pass

    New England Patriots 24-21 Buffalo Bills

    For the second drive in a row, the Patriots have failed to turn it into a score.

    On third down and needing 25 yards to force a first down, Patriots quarterback Drake Maye sends the ball for a attempted 49 yard pass towards Mack Hollins.

    Diving with Hollins was Tre'Davious White who takes the catch and an interception, although it is effectively a punt with the Bills taking the ball nine yards from their own end zone.

    The Chargers keep the ball for the first five minutes of the third quarter, with Justin Herbert finding tight end Oronde Gadsden for a huge gain.

    But despite extending the play on third down from Kansas City's five-yard line, Herbert can't spot anyone open and accepts the sack.

    Cameron Dicker comes on to kick his second field goal from 23 yards and level things up at Arrowhead.
