Tons of energy, tons of colour, lots of screaming from the crowd.

I don't understand much of what's going on - but there's plenty of entertainment.

A hoard of people carrying a wide variety of Caribbean flags just ran round the house in the middle of the stadium.

While the main act seems to be performing his set entirely in Spanish, this rather famous artist showed up and sang in English.

The crowd went pretty wild for Lady Gaga.

It wouldn't be a Super Bowl half-time show without a moment of drama. For the artist performing it's a chance to showcase their music to an audience of more than 120 million people and that's just in the United States - so grabbing headlines is often a big consideration.

There's certainly been a few big talking points in recent history - from Kendrick Lamar using the stage last year to take a swipe at his rap rival Drake to Rihanna announcing her pregnancy during the opening of her 2023 performance.

But some half-time shows have been remembered for all the wrong reasons, like the infamous off-beat backup dancer at Katy Perry's 2015 show (who will always be remembered as Left Shark) or the scandal of Madonna's 2012 show, when guest artist M.I.A. gave cameras the middle finger at the infamously family-friendly show.

It's now over to Bad Bunny to see what his set has in store.

Here just for the half-time show? So are Annie and Nick. The break in play is one of the most coveted sets for the world’s biggest artists, from Madonna to Michael Jackson, but why? Listen along to hear Annie and Nick go back in time to some of the most memorable performances, music ones that is.

Tonight, many people will tune into the Super Bowl just for the half-time show. This year, Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny will take the main stage, but will the players get to watch?

At a press conference on Thursday, Bad Bunny hinted that his performance would be more about unity and healing than spreading division.

"I know that the world is gonna be happy this Sunday, and they're gonna have fun, and they're gonna dance and they're gonna have a good time," he said.

At the Grammy Awards last week, where he walked away with the ceremony's biggest prize, he was more direct. Before thanking anyone, he took the mic and declared "ICE out" - a reference to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who have led large operations detaining immigrants in cities across the US.

President Donald Trump was elected in part due to his promise to curb illegal immigration, and the White House says its policies are aimed at protecting the public by deporting those here illegally who have criminal records. Those operations have come under scrutiny, including recently after federal agents killed two American citizens in separate incidents in Minneapolis.

"We're not savage. We're not animals. We're not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans," the 31-year-old said onstage in English.

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel speaking to NBC at half time: "From all sides we have to do a much better job. We have to play more complimentary football.

"Our defence have done a great job to hold them to three field goals. We will settle down and we have to find a way to convert."

On how they can stop the run game: "It is the same thing we have been saying since we got there with these guys. We have to set a good edge, build a wall and we have to swarm. We missed too many tackles and gave them too many edges."

  10. What can we expect from Bad Bunny's half-time show?published at 01:17 GMT 9 February

    It's time for Bad Bunny's half-time show.

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican pop star could make history tonight by becoming the first artist to perform his 15-minute set entirely in Spanish.

We can expect him to lean heavily on material from his 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which won the top album prize at last week's Grammys. Many will be wondering whether he will use his performance to platform other Latin artists he has previously collaborated with, or to make a political statement.

At the aforementioned Grammys ceremony, he dedicated his album of the year award to "all the people that had to leave their homeland, their country, to follow their dreams".

I think Drake Maye has no confidence because he has his own player in his lap every time he goes to throw the ball.

Gotta be honest, when I planned this graph before the game started, I thought it'd end up a tad more interesting.

    Defence is king so far.

There weren't any big plays from the Patriots. I don't know how the defence can be disappointed but they'll be going into the locker room, focusing on how to change things up. The defence may be putting more pressure on themselves to force a tunrover in this second half.

Now it's the military operation that is constructing the stage for the half-time show. I'm sensing jungle vibes for Bad Bunny's set.

Particulalry in the Super Bowl, you've got 25 minutes. It's a longer half-time so you have longer to rally together and see what you need to do in the next half to close the gap.

There's been no offensive identity from either team this game, apart from Kenneth Walker. There's been no flow and both teams are scared. No one is being aggressive down the field.

The match-up that we've all been wanting to see is JSN and Christian Gonzalez and so far, Gonzalez has had the better of him. It goes to show the quality that he's playing at that he can neutralise the threats on Seattle's offence.

Drake Maye kneels on the ball to bring an end to a brutal half of defensive football in Super Bowl 60.

Maye just hasn't settled at all, he hasn't been allowed to by a swarming Seattle pass rush with just 52 totla yards of offence so far.

Sam Darnold has had pressure himself, but he's managed to do much better to avoid being sacked and finding room to make his throws, while Kenneth Walker has halped him out by making some big gains on the ground.

New England have plenty to think about in this extended half-time break, but they will get the ball first in the second half.

History doesn't bode well for the patriots. There's never been a Super Bowl winner that has been shut out at half-time. The Pats need a score before half time but they'll make history if they can bring it back.
