    If you're in America anyway.

The 2024 Super Bowl set a domestic record when an estimated 123 million people tuned in to make it the most-watched broadcast since the 1969 moon landing.

And last year topped it. More than 127 million saw the Philadelphia Eagles end the Kansas City Chiefs' dreams of a three-peat in February 2025.

Worth saying that these figures are tracking only US audiences. When a worldwide audience is factored in, things change - for instance the global TV audience for the 2022 men's World Cup final was watched by an estimated 1.5 billion people.

More than 3,000 media members have been covering the Super Bowl build-up, with most of them based in San Francisco.

It was a typically misty start to the day there as the media shuttles set off on the 45-mile journey south to Levi's Stadium.

But the sun is shining in Santa Clara so it should be a glorious start to the pre-game activities.

Santa Clara is about 5,000 miles away from the UK - hence kicking off in daylight - but we'll do our best to make you feel like you're one of the lucky 71,000 or so inside Levi's Stadium.

This is only the second time it has hosted this event. The first was 10 years ago as Denver Broncos saw off Carolina Panthers 24-10 in a defensive masterclass.

Broncos linebacker Von Miller was named Super Bowl MVP, the last time a defensive player received the accolade.
