It's ironic really that the best player on this field tonight has probably been Christian Gonzalez. Without him, it would have been an absolute blowout at this point. He is keeping the Patriots in it.

With now JSN Seattle can't convert and Michael Dickson comes out for another punt - they're getting plenty of action tonight!

There's no real stress for Seattle right now on doing that though as New England haven't got a thing going on offence all game - 12 points feels pretty comfortable right now.

The problem for the Patriots is they need 1, probably 2 TDs to get back into this but can't even get into FG range.

Offence is about rhythm. They have never been in rhythm all game. It is hard to play the quarterback position and the Seattle defence are continuing to frustrate him over and over again.

An eighth punt for New England as a hurried throw from Drake Maye is too far in front of Kayshon Boutte - stop me if you've heard this one before...

Mike Vrabel can't believe it on the sideline and I'm struggling to believe an offensive coordinator as experienced as Josh McDaniels can't find a way to settle his guy down.

As Maye is rattled here - he was sacked when he had options then rushed a throw. He's not calm, he's not confident and he's under extreme pressure.

And he's running out of time to fix it.

Have to feel for Maye, he's still young, but been a few times when under pressure this season he's been well under par. Isn't a big game player - yet

  8. Sackpublished at 02:10 GMT 9 February

Seattle Seahawks 12-0 New England Patriots - third quarter

Drake Maye sacked on first down! He's looking a little like a rabbit in the headlights now, he has a receiver open breaking out to the right but doesn't trust it enough to let the ball go quickly and he's swallowed up.

    That's a 19th sack in this post-season Maye - a joint-record.

You're starting to see some frustration the sideline now, Drake Maye is visibly frustrated. This is where experience can win you games, just knowing how to reset and mentally calm. If the Patriots can't find something soon, the dam is going to break.

The pressure tells this time as Sam Darnold can't convert a third down so they have to punt this time and the Pats escape without conceding any points as their defence bails them out yet again.

It really has been two huge defensive efforts from both of these sides, and whether you like it or not because you want to see touchdowns and big plays, it's tremendous from both of them.

He's had his hands on Sam Darnold plenty of times today but finally Milton Williams brings him down for a sack!

The Pats gave Williams a record contract when he signed last summer, and he's looking to try and earn it here.

It's really been the story, Drake Maye has struggled on offence. He's waiting for that second opportunity but it just ends up being a missed opportunity.

For many Latinos, the Super Bowl has all too often been an event that excluded them. Even those who love American football feel it isn't as inclusive of them as soccer.

At half-time, Bad Bunny smashed that idea into a thousand pieces.

Emerging from a sugarcane field in the middle of the stadium, he sang hit after hit, touching on themes close to the heart of Puerto Ricans - from dominoes to family.

It was unapologetically Latino at a time in which political tensions over immigrants from the region are exploding across the streets of the US, especially Minneapolis.

Between the lines, he kept up the political messaging, climbing an electricity pylon - a symbol of the island's ruined infrastructure after Hurricane Maria, which many on the island feel the first Trump Administration failed to address adequately.

He spiked the ball he was carrying like a touchdown as he left the stage.

In Mexico City, it felt to the watching party I am with like a massive seven points for Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio - Bad Bunny.

  15. Another punt!published at 02:00 GMT 9 February

Seattle Seahawks 12-0 New England Patriots - third quarter

Oh dear Drake Maye - he finally had some time back there and he's just flat-out missed the throw to an open DeMario Douglas.

It was short and low and Maye is fuming as he trudges back to the sideline as New England have to kick it away yet again - that was the worst miss so far as the protection was as good as it's been all game.

And if Seattle go down and score now this could all get out of hand pretty quickly.

You get your ring at the end of the game. We've seen so many quarterbacks have sub-standard games in the Super Bowl but they were able to rally their team through when it really counted.

There's been 60 of these games and nobody has ever had five field goals in a game.

The Seahawks would be expecting more from themselves. Especially the redzone plays. Sam Darnold has struggled with the pressure, on the last drive you saw him miscue, but they've kept the scoreboard ticking over. That's what Championship teams do.

Right, it's serious now for the Patriots, who have limited the Seahawks to four field goals, but have only made four first downs themself in response.

We're getting to the time when Drake Maye really has to start getting something moving - although I don't think the play calling has been too crash hot so far.

They need to run it more, get players like TreVeyon Henderson the ball on the outside and open something up. Crunch time.
