A sixth sack of the game for Seattle on Drake Maye to extend that unwanted record of most sacks in a single post-season to 21 on poor Maye.

It's not all on the offensive line as the play calling hasn't been great and Maye has held on too long, but it's been a bad night for them all around.

Teams that win the turnover battle are 40-7 in Super Bowls and it's heading that way again with the Seahawks winning both in turnovers and on the scoreboard.

Just when Seattle's offence fails the special teams steps up and downs the punt inside the five - the returner reallt should've caught that one though.

The Patriots bring the house, and that leaves space in behind that speedster Rashid Shaheed takes advantage of by burning off his defender, but the Sam Darnold throw is just out of his grasp and the Seahawks have to punt.

Drake Maye has been in all kinds of bother all night, and it's like he finally just said OK, we're down and out, let's just swing for the fences.

He's done it so well all season and those two plays were far more like what we've seen for most of the regular season.

But before he can really try and do something special, the Patriots defence needs a stop.

Drake Maye is showing some confidence of Championship calibre, those were two big time throws that he needed to make in the context of this game.

It was a risky pass but it's what the moment required. It could've gone either way but he made the right call.
