  1. Appeal after residents threatened with claw hammer in burglary in Worcesterpublished at 11:40 BST 17 October 2016

    Police are appealing for witnesses after two intruders forced their way into a home in Gillam Street, external, Worcester.

    The occupants were threatened with a claw hammer and a crowbar during the robbery. The offenders have stolen various items including gold jewellery, wallet and cash before leaving the property.  

    The incident took place between 20:30 and 20:50pm on Friday 14 October.

    Kidderminster Harriers are also into the next round of the FA Cup after they were 6-0 winners over Weymouth at Aggborough

    Both Westfields and Kidderminster will find out who they'll play in the next round of the FA Cup.

    The qualifiers are joined in the competition by 48 clubs from League One and League Two.

    The draw is live tonight on BBC Two - coverage begins at 19:00. Here are the numbers to watch out for.

    Westfields are the lowest-ranked side remaining in the FA Cup after beating Leiston 2-1 at the weekend to go into the first-round proper draw for the first time.

    Labourer Richard Greaves scored the winner for the ninth tier side against a team that plays two levels higher.

    Hereford-based Westfields, who play in the Midland League Premier Division, have won six games in the FA Cup this season, a club record run.

    They were formed in 1966 on the back of England's World Cup triumph.

    Worcester Warriors made a disappointing start to their Challenge Cup campaign as the long trip to Russia ended in a 19-12 defeat by Enisei-STM.  

    Academy centre Will Butler, Adams, Charlie Hewitt and Matti Williams all made their first starts in a much-changed Warriors line-up.  

    Worcester, who won only one of their six group games last season's competition, next play Brive at Sixways on 22 October.

  10. Bull found wandering in Bewdley put downpublished at 09:13 BST 17 October 2016

    A bull found roaming in Bewdley in an "agitated state" has been put down by police, external.

    The animal had wondered from a farm on the Kidderminster Road into a residential area on Sunday evening. 

    It was first spotted at about 19:00, before being killed an hour later.
