Unbelievable acceleration through the last four gates and Benjamin Karl makes it pay.

A fourth Olympic medal and a second gold. The Austrian is the most dominant men's parallel giant slalom snowboarder of all-time.

It's like he had a turbo charger through the last gates.

    Biathlon - mixed 4x6km relay

Less than five seconds separate first and fourth as the third leg continues.

A superb shooting display from Vanessa Voigt had Germany back out in front for a time in front with Italy, with Dorothea Weirer on the third leg, right behind.

France were third and Norway dropped to fourth after Karoline Offigstad Knotten needs to use two of her share rounds.

But the gap closes again and it's Lou Jeanmonnot of France first to the next shooting point.

    Gold goes to Zuzana Maderova!

Sabine Payer slid off her line early on and the Czech rider took full advantage, speeding down the rest of the course to finish 0.83 seconds ahead of the Austrian.

Fair play to Payer, she greets Maderova with a huge hug and celebrates alongside her opponent. She looks fairly happy with silver.

Germany, Norway and Italy were pretty much neck-and-neck going into second shooting range of the second leg.

But it's the Germans who are back out onto the course fastest. Very impressive shooting from Philipp Nawrath.

Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen gets Norway into second place and Italy stay third Lukas Hofer narrowly avoiding a penalty lap, hitting his final target with his penultimate share round.

France are right behind them now, though.
