    A reminder of the dangers involved in this sport. Alex Ferreira, waiting at the bottom of the slope, couldn't watch after Nick Goepper landed so awkwardly.

    Oh my goodness me. That's a big, big crash for Nick Goepper.

    His final run was coming to an end with a massive trick and he landed so, so heavily on the lip of the pipe.

    The medical team are quickly out to attend to him.

    He's on his feet and walking away, with some assistance. I've no idea how.

    This final quarter-final has had to be stopped.

    There was a big crash involving three skaters and Polish skater Kamila Sellier suffered a heavy fall.

    She is receiving medical attention on the ice.

    Bobsleigh - two-woman

    Ooooo there's been a shake up in the medal positions of the two-woman bobsleigh after the second heat.

    American's Kaillie Armbruster-Humphries and Jasmine Jones have lost their lead due to a slower second run and are now in third. They are 0.23 seconds behind German pair and current leaders Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi.

    Their compatriots Lisa Buckwitz and Neele Schuten are in second.

    The third heat will take place at 18:00 GMT on Saturday.
