Men's curling bronze medal match - Norway 1-9 Switzerland

Switzerland have beaten Norway 9-1 to win the bronze medal in the men's curling.

At the end of the ninth end, with Norway trailing 6-1 and with no chance of a big score to take the match any further, the Norwegian skip does a 360 before delivering his final stone.

There are warm handshakes and hugs between the players at the end.

It would have been tough for the Swiss not to come away with anything at all, having won all nine of their round-robin matches before their loss to Great Britain in the semi-finals last night.

Tomorrow at 18:05 GMT, it's the final between GB and Canada, which you'll be able to watch and follow live with us.

    What a drama-filled semi-final. Crashes galore.

There were seven skaters and only one crossed the line!

China's Yang Jingru is last woman standing and qualifies for the final and Hong Kong's Ching Yan Lam was second.

Italy's Elisa Confortola is allowed to advance after a review of her crash.

That USA opener from Dylan Larkin was coming since face-off. They have pinned Slovakia right back and never allowed them to get going.

Slovakia have already had to engage in the sort of desperate defending we saw from Finland in the final stages of the early game against Canada.

I just spoke to Gus Kenworthy in the mixed zone and asked him what's next? Will we see him at another Olympics?

"I'm having fun, I'm not done," he replied.

So I asked him again, will we see you in 2030?

    "I hope so."

Gus Kenworthy is self-funding himself to come and do this. He is not part of the Team GB setup that receives funding. He is paying his own way, and you have got to doff your cap to him.

It's a difficult one for Gus Kenworthy because he had so much more to give, but falling on the first run really changed his strategy. In his heart, he knows there is a low nineties score. It will be tough for him to say goodbye on that note.

    Emma Smith

After the late drama of Canada's last-gasp victory over Finland in the first semi-final, what will the late match bring?

USA unquestionably have more stars, but Slovakia have shown throughout these Games that they are way more than the sum of their parts.

They were also the only side not to need overtime to win their quarter-final, while the USA were taken the distance by Sweden.

Already the atmosphere is crackling here - these are possibly the two loudest sets of fans in this competition.

We've had eight ends in the men's bronze medal match between Norway and Switzerland and it's the Swiss that have a 4-1 lead.

Talk about finishing with a flourish! After two incomplete runs, Brendan Mackay had all the pressure on him and he delivered.

    But is it enough?

No it's not! It's only enough for bronze, and American Alex Ferreira is the gold medallist.

Halfpipe silver in 2018, halfpipe bronze in 2022, halfpipe gold in 2026.

Estonia's Henry Sildaru wins silver and Canadian Mackay the bronze at the end of an extraordinary final.

GB's Gus Kenworthy finishes a very creditable sixth and Irishman Ben Lynch comes eighth.
