  1. What makes Chloe Kim so good?published at 19:00 GMT 12 February

    Snowboarding - women's halfpipe final

Earlier today I had a chat with BBC Sport pundit and Olympic medal-winning snowboarder Jenny Jones about Chloe Kim.

Talking about when Kim burst on to the scene with her first Olympic gold in 2018, Jones said: "People were like "woah, who is this?' with her riding style and her technique. That has carried on through her career.

"When you watch her riding, she gets such good amplitude, she's so high out of the pipe, and her tricks are really technical.

"She can combine both amplitude and technicality in her riding, she does rad grabs, she puts in the style where she wants to and she just carries it all in her stride."

Wow, so much air, so many twists. The guys on commentary are calling it a masterclass.

Well done Chloe Kim. She's into first place with a score of 88.0.

One thing you've got to remember is that the falls can start to play in this. But, these women are as tough as old boots. I mean it in the nicest possible sense.

Another big name who has just arrived is Myles Garrett, NFL player for the Cleveland Browns - and Chloe Kim’s boyfriend.

He’s with Kim’s family near the finish area, and they’re all wearing jackets emblazoned with a photo of her celebrating her Olympic win in Pyeongchang.

OK, one final first run left in the halfpipe final, and it's American Chloe Kim...

Curling - GB women v China

Hello, that's a hog-line violation by the Chinese. The first one we've seen this week.

Basically, the thrower must release the stone before the green line. If they don't, a wee light flashes on it. "There was a lingering finger," says BBC Sport pundit Logan Gray.

That's careless by the Chinese and gives Team GB an opening. Can they capitalise?

It is an arms race in tricks. The ten is at a premium here, we've seen a couple of tens but with tens have come falls.

You want to put your big tricks right at the top of the pipe but with big tricks comes great risk and technicalities.

We're seeing a new generation of snowboarders. What they lack in technicality, they certainly make up for in fearlessness.

Hate to be that guy, but do kids these days even know any Snoop Dogg songs?

Up next is Japan's Sara Shimizu who's just 16 years old.

She 'Drops it like it's hot' with a superb run that puts her up to second in the provisional table.

Curling - GB women 2-0 China

    Richard Winton

Finally, some points on the board. I was starting to think Team GB were playing for a goalless draw...

Rebecca Morrison slides in the final stone, clears out the Chinese one that was lying shot, and it's a 2-0 lead for the British rink.

That crash just goes to show the tiny margins that these athletes are playing with.

Oh no. South Korean teenager Choi Ga-on is next up but she takes a massive tumble after an awkward landing. The medical team ski over to her quickly.

You don't realise the height of the jumps until someone looks a bit scared up there. Next thing they come crashing down.

As quickly as we build pressure up in the final, it all comes crashing down.

Gasps at the bottom of the halfpipe as both Sena Tomita of Japan and Canada's Elizabeth Hosking wipeout.

They're both quickly back on their feet though and give a thumbs up to the cameras. Remember, each athlete has three runs and only their best score counts.

There are rumours a certain Mr Dogg is in town tonight.

I will keep you all updated on this very important development.

It may have nothing to do with it, but a big white tent has been put up near the media area. That was not there yesterday…

One big name has already arrived. Snowboarding GOAT Shaun White is in the house.

    It's snowing heavily in Livigno.

The snow shouldn't affect the athletes, under the floodlights they're absolutely fine. Let's be honest, you're in the wrong sport if you're affected by snow.

Mitsuki Ono is the second boarder out and she immediately sets a good benchmark score as the snow comes down making the halfpipe look like it's in the middle of a snowglobe.

A 1080 with a tail grab helps the Japanese athlete to 85.00.
