What a race by Xandra Velzeboer! We don't get a lot of world records at these Winter Olympics so that really stands out.

Showing why she is the world number one there.

A muted reaction from the many Dutch fans here though - as Xandra's sister Michelle has been knocked out.

    Short track - Women's 500m

The ice is just getting smoothed over, but we have the women's 500m semi-finals next.

There's five skaters in each semi-final, the fastest two skaters in each semi-final automatically qualify for the final, as does the fastest third placed skater.

Sisters Xandra and Michelle Velzeboer will go against one another in the first semi and compete against Italy's golden girl Arianna Fontana too.

This should be a good race!
