I didn't see that coming. Fery got careless, loose, tight, maybe all of the above.

Dimitrov to serve for the second set now.

    *Dimitrov 5-7 5-3 Fery

Madison Keys gets away with one there. The ball seemed to hang in the air for ages after striking the net cord, but it eventually falls onto Linda Noskova's side of the court and stops the Czech from bringing up match point. The crowd enjoyed that one.

    A tie-break, it is.

  4. 'First serve percentage dropping'published at 17:39 BST 6 July

The first serve percentage is definitely dropping here for Fery. Dimitrov is probing away.

A two-handed Fery backhand hits the top of the net to take the eighth game to deuce and a looping crouching error then goes long from Fery. Dimitrov, for only the third time in this match, has a break point.

  6. Tie-breakpublished at 17:38 BST 6 July

    Keys 4-6 6-6 Noskova*

Madison Keys serves to stay in the match, not once but twice, and gets the job done on both occasions.

She gets a bit of good fortune with a net chord going her way, had that ball dropped the other side of the net then the American would have been facing match point.

    To the tie-break we go.

  7. Postpublished at 17:37 BST 6 July

A half-chance for Dimitrov, with a one-handed sweeping backhand finding the middle of the line for 30-30. A stern look at the grass from Fery, who finds himself in a bit of trouble.

    Dimitrov 5-7 4-3 Fery*

Dimitrov produces the first double fault of the match, but it does not prove costly as that is the only point he loses in the seventh game of the second set.

A determined nod to those in his team watching on follows at the end of the game. Dimitrov still expects to win this, although he may well be surprised at just how well his opponent has played so far.

  10. 'Fery believes he should win'published at 17:31 BST 6 July

    *Dimitrov 5-7 3-3 Fery

    John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC One

Fery seems totally relaxed to me. He doesn't seem wound up at all. Once he got the butterflies out he's looking dangerous. He believes he should win this.

    *Dimitrov 5-7 3-3 Fery

A powerful cross-court forehand from Fery draws an error from Dimitrov, who is then rooted to the spot as a Fery ace, his third of the match, flies past him.

Halfway through the second set, three games apiece.

    Dimitrov 5-7 3-2 Fery*

Grigor Dimitrov is trying to motivate himself and is chatting to himself during and after the fifth game of the second set. A hold to 30 keeps the scoreboard ticking along, but he clearly is not too happy with how he is performing so far.

The second set remains on serve though.

Someone on Court One shouts out "You're a champion, Madison", clearly trying to remind her of her 2025 Australian Open triumph.

But Keys has looked a long way off the level that saw her defeat Aryna Sabalenka in the Melbourne final last year and now she's only one game away from defeat.

  14. 'Fery performing above expectations'published at 17:26 BST 6 July

    *Dimitrov 5-7 2-2 Fery

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC One

This tournament I think Dimitrov's had a spring in his step and been playing with a lot more freedom.

And perhaps his own expectations have changed because he feels this is a match he should win, but Fery is performing above expectations.

  15. Keys serving to stay in the matchpublished at 17:25 BST 6 July

    *Keys 4-6 4-5 Noskova

Still on serve and this second set remains in the balance.

Linda Noskova mixes things up nicely in her latest service game, holds to love and is now a game away from the quarter-finals.

We're also at the same point as in the first set, Madison Keys serving to stay in it. Can she hold her nerve this time?

  16. 'Pressure is for tyres'published at 17:24 BST 6 July

    *Dimitrov 5-7 2-2 Fery

    Harry Poole
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

‘All aboard’ shouts one man, as Arthur Fery continues to meet this challenge entirely unfazed.

After seeing off those break points, the Briton wastes no time going after Gregor Dimitrov’s serve.

It’s only early in the second set, but Fery’s fearless start has everyone here completely engrossed.

Pressure is for tyres, and this Fery has no use for them...

  17. Postpublished at 17:24 BST 6 July

    *Dimitrov 5-7 2-2 Fery

That is just what Arthur Fery is looking for with a routine hold to 15. We're almost an hour in, and Fery and his camp and the majority of fans on centre will be delighted at how it is going so far.

Hopes of a Briton in the quarter-finals are rising.

    *Keys 4-6 3-4 Noskova

    Emily Salley
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

After dropping serve with four double faults, Linda Noskova gets back on track with a hold to love and piles the pressure back on Maddison Keys, who really needs to hang on here.

Unforced errors are flying off both players' racquets and the Court One crowd respond with a collective groan each time.

    Dimitrov 5-7 2-1 Fery*

Arthur Fery is being sent left and sent right, but shows great persistence and determination to stay in the point and then see Dimitrov unable to keep the point open.

That took the third game of the second set to deuce, but any hopes of a Fery break quickly evaporates. An ace from Dimitrov takes him to game point, which he then secures shortly after with a well controlled volley, digging it out of the turf when the ball was close to his feet.

  20. 'Fery's nose almost on the net'published at 17:15 BST 6 July

    *Dimitrov 5-7 1-1 Fery

    John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC One

Fery's nose was almost on the net. That was an excellent stab there.

Dimitrov was frustrated at the end of the set. He was frustrated he didn't get that break there. If this boils up... he's trying to keep his composure.
