There is a strong feeling that Grigor Dimitrov has really asserted himself now.

But all Arthur Fery can do is continue to scrap away as the Bulgarian's level continues to rise - and it must be said he is doing all he can as he shuts down another two break points.

Shouts of encouragement have replaced the excited cheers we heard throughout most of the first set, with the crowd desperate to prevent the home favourite's challenge from fading.

Based on the evidence so far, nearly two hours in, and in his matches last week, Fery won't be going down without a real fight.

Dimitrov restores his two-game advantage, sending down a bullet serve, which Fery can't get near at full strength. Apart from a bit of joy, which proved crucial at the end of the first set, Fery has struggled to cope with his opponent's serve.

A routine hold for Dimitrov, who needs two more games for a two sets to one lead.
