On Court One, ninth seed Linda Noskova has just snatched the first set against American Madison Keys.

It was on serve at 5-4 with Keys, who had had the only two break points of the set, 40-0 up.

However, she contrived to lose the next five points on the bounce and, from nowhere, Noskova was celebrating winning the opening set.

Dimitrov certainly wants to take advantage of the second serve returns. He's got to take it to Fery and dictate as much as possible.

    Dimitrov 4-3 Fery*

Trailing 0-40, a leaping smash at the net from Dimitrov keeps the eighth game open, and a misjudged crouching forehand from Fery, which flies towards the crowd, gives the Bulgarian a bit more hope.

Fery tries a sliced backhand and only finds the net, so for the first time this match we're at deuce.

  4. Cash and Glasspool head into deciding setpublished at 16:49 BST 6 July

British pair Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool, the defending men's doubles champions, have got a fight on their hands on court three.

They won the first set 6-3 but opponents Petr Nouza of the Czech Republic and Austrian Neil Oberleitner have taken the second by the same scoreline.

The other big question about Arthur Fery, will his game translate to different surfaces? On this surface, the ball stays quite low but it's good for him to make the breakthrough in a big tournament like this.

Once more, Arthur Fery is not able to make a dent in Grigor Dimitrov's serve, which has now included four flawless service holds out of four.

Fery is just having to constantly hold on to what he has got, instead of trying to push towards a break of serve. Still, he is holding his own on tennis' best stage.

While he has stepped inside following the conclusion of the match, Roger Federer, just as he was on that devastating night for Grigor Dimitrov here last year, is once again present in the Royal Box as the Bulgarian seeks to banish the demons of his previous fourth-round appearance at Wimbledon once and for all.

Dimitrov was nicknamed 'Baby Fed' because of the similarity between his and the Swiss great’s game, not least that wonderful one-handed backhand of his.

But still no sign that Arthur Fery is in any way feeling overawed by this big occasion, as he serves in front of the Royal Box to continue his early progress on the scoreboard.

Another ace from Arthur Fery, his second of the match, helps the Briton to a hold to 15, with him sealing the game as a Dimitrov cross-court forehand goes wide.

Fery would have been hoping for a start like this before the match and he has given himself a good foundation, but now he has to just start to chip away at the Dimitrov serve which has been in fine form so far.

No messing around from Grigor Dimitrov on his serve as he makes it three perfect service games out of three, with Fery yet to take a point off him.

Dimitrov's game includes an ace at 136mph that flew past Fery.

Dimitrov has that good slice he likes to use. I don't think it will be as effective against Fery though, he is good against the low ball.

  13. Postpublished at 16:38 BST 6 July

    *Dimitrov 2-2 Fery

Dimitrov, at full stretch, finds the baseline with a delicious forehand that Fery can only stand and watch and that helps the Bulgarian to 15-30, but his hopes of a break of serve are quickly dashed.

An ace down the middle takes Fery to game point, and he seals it soon after with a fine two-handed backhand that Dimitrov can't reach and we're at 2-2.

  14. How has Fery's Wimbledon run affected his ranking?published at 16:34 BST 6 July

Arthur Fery began Wimbledon 114th in the world but he is provisionally into the world's top 100 for the first time as a result of his excellent run to the fourth round.

He is also provisionally the British number two, with only Cameron Norrie ahead of him.

A win today against Grigor Dimitrov would potentially propel Fery, 23, into the mid-60s.

I heard on the news that Arthur Fery was born in France. Does that mean he is a cross-channel Fery?

    Roger, Maldon

    A good joke, Roger!

Yes, Arthur Fery was born in France but he and his family relocated close to Wimbledon when he was very young.

Another hold to love from Dimitrov, who has now won all eight of the points on his serve so far, highlighting just how big a task Fery faces against the former world number three.

It's been quite a while since Dimitrov has even played into the second week of a Slam. He has a terrible record coming into the grass-court season.

A big strength of Arthur [Fery] is his movement. In the grass court specifically, it's how quickly can you move forward. He's great at doing that.

  19. Postpublished at 16:31 BST 6 July

    *Dimitrov 1-1 Fery

A forehand down the line from Dimitrov goes wide to hand Fery his first point on Centre Court, although an up and under from the baseline then goes well wide, to bring about a few oohs and aahs from the fans.

But that is the only drama in the Brit's first service game and a hold to 15 is just what the 23-year-old is after and he is up and running with a game on the board.

  20. 'Tough task' for Ferypublished at 16:29 BST 6 July

It's going to be tough for Arthur Fery to be composed right now and to do his thing early on. I think the heat will actually help Dimitrov to loosen up a bit.

For Arthur Fery, nerves get you tired, heat gets you tired, the occasion gets you tired. This will be a tough task for him.
